Title: On the scrounge - plastic barrels etc Post by: wiggy on Wednesday, June 5, 2013, 10:27:34 Get my new allotment at the weekend (something which I am sure to mention often) but the site doesn't have any water supply. As such I am on the scrounge for any unused large bins/plastic barrels/water tanks, or lenghts of guttering and downpipe.

I managed to get some netting to put over my veggie plots from there so it may be worth you giving them a call. Cool - don't wnt to appear ungrateful but how big is it - would need to make sure the cost of driving from Devizes to Shrivenham and back wouldn't outweigh the value of the butt. Probably not worth the cost to pick it up from Devizes. It's quite small, shabby and without a lid!
