Been so unpredictable so far, favourites and tiny prices getting blown out of the water and massive shots winning and placing on every card, every day. I know this is nothing new, but it's happening more than ever so far this year. Discovery Bay & Prospect Wells were both just well beaten at stupid prices..

So to all the TEF Horse followers, What has your favourite Horse been so far? Jockey? Biggest Winner?

Please give me some winners for the Derby meeting at Epsom on Saturday as well whilst your at it people.

So does this mean Crispy that I am as well backing larger price horses than bothering to try and understand form, jockey, trainer, distance travelled etc?

Just go balls deep in Dawn Approach and start counting your money as soon as he jumps out the gate

Listen to DMR! Dawn Approach should do well. Magician at 11-2 is a lovely price has been a hell of a lot better mind, come in from 50/1 at the start of the month, so might have missed the boat. Took it at 25/1 for my each way bet. Knowing my luck they will both come off..

I have a horse racing question. How often does a horse refuse to run? Is it a rare thing or does it happen quite often?

Intended to go but have to work  :( I haven't looked at any racing for Friday, will look in the Racing post tomorrow and post here if anything stands out or a placepot!

Wouldn't say it's a thing that happens a lot, in comparison to how many races there are a day, I wouldn't have a clue what the figure is for how often it happens mind.

Do you get your money back if that happens to your horse?

One of mine on Saturday came out of the stalls and then proceeded to just stand there taking in the fucking sunshine. Didn't move an inch

Had Directorship win for me twice already this season, first at 12/1 then the Friday before last at 20/1, other than that no luck. Can't see Dawn Approach getting beat this weekend.

Magician only ran (and won) last week in the Irish guineas. Would have been a big ask for him to win such a big one virtually within a week. Dawn Approach should romp home but there's not much value there. There's value elsewhere each way, particularly as I don't think Dawn Approach is unbeatable (maybe not by anything in this field admittedly).

I remember the last horse that did the double....Grundy!

It's 750/1 in my bookies at the moment with Dawn Approach and 250/1 without, I'm in the same boat. Not seen anything like it so worth a couple of quid! It's proberly shite mind..

Chopin is interesting and my idea of an e/w play in the derby - Spencer's a class jock from off the pace too which is how they ride him.

Ocean applause could start today and not win. Save your pound.

Isn't running today. That was my logic behind Chopin. I can't see anything beating the favourite in the Oaks, Banoffee & Moth are both good though. Moth at 7/2 is a nice price also, might have a little cover on it.
