I used to play football with Abdul, good guy, and what may happen to him is frightening.

'UPDATE: ABDUL RELEASED BUT CAMPAIGN NOT OVER. As of 6.30pm last night Abdul has been released from detention. His deportation has been halted and the stories Abdul has from his internment are not nice, but for now he is home. We do now have to work on his asylum claim, otherwise the same thing will happen to him in another few months, so the case and the campaign is not over, just temporarily the danger is over and he is back home with his friends and family. We still have all the work to do to get him permanent residence here though. Thank you to everyone who has given their support so far.' |
