Title: Scuffle on Manchester Road
Post by: Dostoyevsky on Saturday, May 4, 2013, 23:39:09
It got a bit heated on Manchester Road tonight, if not already reported. A dozen Brentford mobbed us scarfers. My bag of chips in my hand escaped the mayhem. Total stupidity. It reminded me of a video by chunkymark.

ps. i'm off to Brentford without a ticket.

It was a bit scarey but thankfully the disorder dissipated. I took to my heels fairly smartish but when I looked back I saw some ruckus unfolding, so hopefully those cocker-neeys got a good hiding for spilling my chips.

See you at Griffin Park when we do the ruffians :D

My immediate assumption when I saw the thread title was that you had met up with Fred

I was tempted to go up E**** Street (asterisked for his anonymity) and squirt his unwashed windows with my special sauce

This was not helped by the useless stewards who pushed everybody out onto County Road when it started to kick off, they have no authority in the road or on the pavement!!  They caused that.

Heard from a Brentford fan that there were Swindon fans attacking scarfed Brentford fans on the way to the train station.

Quote
Oh and nice send off from some of your muppet fans, even attacking kids and older fans in their colours as we tried to make our way to the station, very noble.

Quote
You kind of expect the odd incident to happen, especially at this emotional time of the season, we had our idots try and take on some of the Donny fans last week, But it was just the Swindle approach of attack anyone randomly (probably not helped by the couple of extra hours drinking they had) which really was out of order, easy going non voilent fans getting ambushed just trying to get to the station. Police did manage to get some sort of order, but reckon some Bees fans will be looking to dish out some similar treatment on Monday as a response.http://i.imgur.com/bGvqXew.gif

 :hmmm:

Me too. Fred lives in a skip in the carpark outside Hereford's ground. Just follow the clues.......

I worried about the ambiguity regarding the fate of your chips. . At first you state they survived unscathed but in later post they are noted as being spilled. ..

Please confirm to put my mind at rest.

As has been demonstrated we really do have some twats that follow us - saw one lad about 19 years old going down County Road punching the lamposts!!!

I don't think calling them twats is fair, it's probably a result of their (in)breeding they're fucking morons.

Have some sympathy for the lampost punchers.

Ha ha, you'd expect it from the inbreds down the A420!!!  Many, many moons ago when I was a mere youth we used to have two brothers in the Town End - they were universally known as "The Thick Kids"!!  Don't think they would have punched a lampost though.

Maybe a lamppost killed his father/brother?

I can confirm I saw several chips on the pavement down Manchester Road that had footprints on, looked like Doc Martin prints  ;)

I like this comment from the Brentford site:

'Swindon is designed with volience in mind massive car parks, parks and street within close proxmiyu '

They give our successive councils far too much credit in suggesting Swindon was in any way planned.

Most urban areas have streets and places to park cars  ???

What did they expect to see outside a football ground, wandering meadows and galloping hills? Maybe a small boating lake and somewhere to feed the ducks.

You can see me at the bar in that.  I was waiting or FUCKING AGES but it's worth it to be in the background of that BeesUnited video.
