He set off at 8am and is due on Whitehall around 1800 onwards.

Any London Reds may wish to support his fantastic endeavours

Here's his call to the MET Police a few days ago explaining his planned actions and justification:

Any reason for the nose/toy pig combo  ?

The toy pig represents those at the trough in parliament and big business. He has nothing against pigs as creatures.

Apparently he has been granted permission to nudge the pig down Downing Street.

Where's Daddy Pig? Jumping in muddy puddles, probably.

And now he is going to go wee wee wee all the way back to his padded cell.

;) Out of interest how did you know about that RedFrog? I wasn't going to let on  :D As he was nudging the pig up the Walworth Rd (for those who know South London), around 1.5 miles from Camberwell Hospital (where Chunky's Herculean feat commenced) it was clear that progress was too slow and at that nudging pace they'd never make it to Downing Street on time. ChunkyMark and his ever growing entourage jumped on a London Bus at The Elephant and Castle and alighted at Westminster Bridge, from where he proceeded onwards. I think he underestimated the physical ardour of the task. At one point #wheresdaddyspig was trending on Twitter. The good will he recieved from passing Londoners was very heart warming. Hopefully a few London Reds got my message in time  :hmmm:

All in the name of rallying to the cause, and any publicity (though the main/lame stream media were conspicuously absent) that this exercise garnered will have helped mobilise others.

An almighty bloody nose delivered by Chunky, a man suffering from bowel cancer, to those pigs at the trough who'd dare privatise one of our national assets.

I can't stand to listen to him shouting at the camera normally, but this clip and this project are superb.

Agreed Mystical Goat

An example of someone prepared to take to the streets rather than vent hot air, as he normally does, being far more effective in his approach.

Has the Government changed its policies based on his protest then? Otherwise how is this more effective than anything else? (Not that I disagree with his reasons for doing it necessarily, just I'm not sure what it was/is supposed to achieve.)

So far as Section 75 was concerned - the auctioning of the NHS in the House of Lords last night, it achieved nothing. Give the guy some credit. He made a stand. What did you do?

The implication of what you're saying is that, unless your actions can make tangible difference then you can "shut up and put up".

What a cowardly stance.

At the very least it caused me to watch one of his videos in it's entirety, instead of turning off after 20 seconds of that put on Michael Cane accent and bellowing tone.
