Title: Into The Valley Post by: IntoTheValley on Wednesday, April 17, 2013, 17:58:54 Dunfermline Athletic F.C. are the latest in a long line of football clubs suffering from years of financial mismanagement at the hands of the blazerati, who have been masquerading as upstanding custodians of our proud 128-year-old football club.
Our club is now in administration and Pars fans are pulling together to raise enough funds to get us through the remaining weeks of the season. One of our initiatives is a fundraising evening at East End Park this Saturday, where we will have a number of ex-players and managers appearing. We are also running an auction and raffle and we are appealing to the wider football community to lend us a hand. You can do this by purchasing a raffle ticket for £5. Payment can be made via Paypal to: [email protected]. All the best, Into The Valley Are you that Lee bloke off the Rotherham Forum? :D Title: Re: Into The Valley Post by: horlock07 on Wednesday, April 17, 2013, 18:16:32 We are also running an auction and raffle and we are appealing to the wider football community to lend us a hand. Title: Re: Into The Valley Post by: Honkytonk on Wednesday, April 17, 2013, 18:31:26 Are you that Lee bloke off the Rotherham Forum? :D Yeah, look, in all seriousness, telling us to paypal some bloke to enter the raffle is really not an intelligent way of doing things, particularly after the debacle that Rotherham have gone through. Some kind of proof it's not just going into someone's beer money tin would be nice. EDIT: Re-reading it sounds like I'm saying you're a liar trying to line your own pockets, my bad. I'm just being the voice of cynicism here. Fully support the cause, just being wary what with recent events... Title: Re: Into The Valley Post by: Reg Smeeton on Wednesday, April 17, 2013, 20:43:22 I always liked the Dunfermline kit from about 58 through to mid 70's...that thin black pencil stripe always looked smart to me.
Skids were a decent band as well....Stuart Adamson, what a sad waste of a talented life. Title: Re: Into The Valley Post by: adje on Wednesday, April 17, 2013, 21:35:35 Agreed Reg.
