I don't actually know a single person on this forum, but hadn't really considered whether any of you are shisters, con-artists etc etc.

In my own little fantasy world I'd hoped we were all a bunch of brothers (and sisters) united in a community spirit of supporting our favourite footie team. When in reality, we're just a bunch of cnuts! :-)

We never really sponsored any of those players. I TOOK ALL THE MONIES MWAHAHAHAHA.

Years ago a 'friend' who was my best man contacted me after not hearing from him for a couple of years.

He said he had a debt collector after him and looking to do him harm.

He needed a grand to get him out of the shit.

Gave it to him and then found out he had taken deposits for a holiday from a group of his mates and pissed it away and the holiday was now looming.

A bit sad really reading that forum that one man's idiocy / theft (depending on whose account is to be believed) has led to the spilling of a lot of bad blood between fellow supporters. Some of them don't seem to have a lot of sympathy for those out of pocket.

This story is being covered on Look North today.  Seems nobody can find the fucker now.  South Yorkshire police "made aware of allegations of fraud" and Punch Taverns have agreed to cover the costs.

He's still posting on their forum, apologising or gloating I'm not sure which

It's impressive if nobody can find him. I remember that thread from a couple of years back on the Brighton(?) forum, some kid ended up having tons of pizzas/hookers etc. sent to his house because he pissed off a couple of people who worked out who he was/where he lived just through the forum and facebook.
