Coming over with the family (5 of us) from France for this one. I was actually hoping to go to the Oldham game as well but the buggers moved it forward to Friday instead of Saturday.....looking forward to it as it'll be the first game of this season for me. We're going up on Sunday and staying over in Doncaster.

I'm also coming over for the last (hopefully) 2 games of the season – Stevenage and Scunthorpe – to see promotion clinched.

Sometimes there are advantages of spending Easter with the in laws in Sheffield...obviously leaving directly from the CG on Friday!

Going up with a mate who's just THAT desperate to see Swindon play. I floated the idea as a joke, but now we're going. Not sure what I've got myself in for...

I'm going, Yeovil was the first game I'd missed since Oldham, and I didn't particularly enjoy watching us on the box.

More scarily i'm driving. Well part of the way up there anyway. It's gonna be a slow job too. Damn thing is limited at 60mph. Gay!

The accusation was not levelled at you on this occasion (although i can see why you thought it might have been :-)). As if i'd get involved in driving the bloody thing back. I'll be nicely tucked in the back with a few bottles toasting our victory.

Well that's the plan anyway!

A sound one. (unless it's the old man driving back) I'll toast you at the funeral.

Nah he's not getting involved thankfully. Mainly because i don't think he's capable of driving under 60mph without spontaneously combusting.

Any news on ticket sales post oldham?  I'm buying on door.  Can't imagine we'll take much over 500.

500 would be a right result on a Bank Holiday Monday.

Is there parking at the ground?

Any recommended pubs, ideally on way from train station?  Based on Google Maps, it looks like a dull duel carriageway walk with no pubs in sight.

Edit: Football Ground Guide offers a somewhat uninspiring choice: http://www.footballgroundguide.com/doncaster_rovers/#Keepmoat-Stadium-Doncaster-Pubs
