I don't know why they have to keep telling us the emabrgo will be lifted soon/ASAP/tomorrow/early next week/shortly/any other variation of the bullshit we keep getting.

If they don't know just say nothing. It's just pissing the fans off and making it harder to believe anything they tell us.

Maybe so, but we've heard countless times over the last few weeks, whether it be about the embargo or the takeveoer, that it will be finalised or lifted, "tomorrow". It has been stated in the Advertiser, on Twitter, by Sam Moorshead, etc....the information, presumably, came from the club.

I understand this to be true.

Jed strikes me as wanting to be everyone's friend to keep people on side - dont know what but I just get some uneasy feeling that there is something we are not being told - apart from who the money men are, I hope I'm wrong, but time will tell.

I would imagine that's exactly what it is , im sure they ( the board ) have mentioned something about previous employees needing to be paid . There is also the possibility of legal action being taken by  previous employees .

I reckon it's something to do with PDC and his staff. Maybe liabilities from their contracts, either the remaining salaries, bonuses due or that they haven't been legally terminated so the salaries are still on the books. Something like that.

Though I'm surprised there were apparently other payments outstanding for transfers and loan players etc, as Black gave the impression he'd settled everything during January. Obviously not.

That to me makes sense jonny, Was Paolo's resignation ever officially accepted? I'm sure when he was asked that in his recent Sky sports interview he just gave a Wry smile.

I would imagine it has now as we have a new manager. It would be a bit pointless to not accept it - especially considering the pretty high salary he was supposed to be on. Unless it was out of spite to stop PDC from getting another job.

It surely cant be anything to do with PDC & co other clubs (Southampton for e.g.) do not pay off former staff straight away and it ends up in court and thye do not get put under enbargo, I wonder if it has anything to do with the balance sheet and budgets not being correct.

Sam keeps tweeting it is doewn to the FL but surely if stfc had satisfied everything that FL has asked for then they could have cleared it, would be good to have it clarified but it does not seem like they are willing, I really do hope this does not drag on as if we cant get this done by the close of the emergency loan window (10 days time ?)  I do fear we may miss out on promotion as we need fresh bodies to help us over the line with the small squad we have.
