Time to wheel and deal for Paolo

PAOLO Di Canio has already started writing his shopping list for the January sales, but he won’t have the flexibility in the transfer market that he would have preferred.

Just keep an eye out at Burnley. If..................Austin goes then Paolo should have all the wonga that he needs to get us up automatically, if not, the play offs beckon.

I'm still adamant we'll go up, the question is auto or play offs really.

Plus we should cash in from Caddis. And hopefully get rid of some dead wood.

I reckon Bostock will be off in January to join a Championship club - huge loss

Ward will be signed on a permanent.

Martin/Hollands will go back to their respective clubs

Incoming will be 1 new striker and 1 new midfielder

I'm always wary of too many incomings as it seems to upset the team for a few games and it looks as if we may have settled into a decent run of form.

Whatever happens, I feel very confident for the rest of the season

- Adam Rooney to go
- Several forum members seem to think Bostock to go
- Martin to go?
- Hollands to stay or will Navarro's return mean he goes?
- Caddis to go or remain out on loan?
- Luke Rooney out on loan ?
- Benson remain out on loan
- Risser remain out on loan?

Surely that's a hefty sum of cash freed up for a 'nasty' striker or two?

Ward's loan runs to Jan but we have a perm option for him.

Cheers. We would be wise to pick up that option if finances allow in my opinion.

Keeping Ward is the key. Great shame if Bostock goes. They are the two keepers. Hollands looked very good on Friday and whilst I'd probably have him over Navarro, it would just be greedy. Rooney to go back no matter what. Risser and Cox to go permanantly, and possibly Luke Rooney.

Oxford fans reckon that Cox's loan wont be renewed

Is that due to their £54M debt, or because he's no good?

Yea one I know said he has played pretty well sitting in front of the back 4, think he missed quite a while through injury though.

What makes you think he'll be off to the Championship?

He's only played 9 games for us this season and whilst he's played well he's hardly been out of this world. Plus in interviews he's talked about signing a permanent deal with us and said he's just glad to be playing and rebuilding his career. Really don't see a Championship club being interested or Bostock wanting to risk changing clubs again.

Main stumbling block is his salary at Tottenham, though with only six months left on his contract there is a good chance of them being able to sort a deal out.

A week or so ago it seemed as though he was definitely going back, which would have been a shame because he is our best-performing midfielder - does a great job as a DM alongside someone more creative.

We've had some injuries in midfield though, Leven is (as always) regaining fitness, and one of our others has turned dogshite. So we could really do with signing Cox.

I've only seen him play a few times, looked a tidy ball player to me. Not really had a long enough run to say whether he'd be a revaluation or disaster though.

I'd have liked to see him play when we struggled to be creative against teams like Colchester.

Hollands>Bostock in terms of centre mids I'd like to see extend their stay
