Title: Seats at Lords Post by: donkey on Sunday, December 9, 2012, 20:29:15 Evening,
Trying for tickets tomorrow for the Ashes match at Lords. For a man who enjoys a pint, which stand would you recomend, or should be avoided (eg are there any dry stands?). Cheers. Having never been to Lords myself I will also be trying for tickets! If I get through I'll be trying for Mound Stand or the nursery end upper.

I always go in the upper Compton, try to get near the middle and you are just to the side of the bowlers arm. Bitter is mainly Marston Pedi, charging £4 a pint, which is not bad these days. You can take in two cans per person or a bottle of wine, I always go for the latter. Luckily I have friends who are members so already have my tickets guaranteed for Friday and Saturday. Saturday tickets will be very hard to get, go for Sunday or Friday. Title: Re: Seats at Lords Post by: donkey on Wednesday, December 12, 2012, 07:33:00 All stands are brilliant.
