Had a power cut this morning and it set my alarm off, all day apparently  :crash:

I tapped the code in, it stopped = fine. I notice that the light is still flashing out the front. Any ideas why?

Needs resetting i should think

There is a reset button, I'll have a look when I get home. No bloody instructions for it. Any suggestions appreciated  :)

How the fuck are people meant  to know how to sort out your alarm?

By experience or knowledge.

  think house alarms is pushing it.

Find out the make and model then google it.

Was just about to say the same thing, we must both be insane. Who would think of such a thing?

Already googled it, battery back up replacement seems popular. I will have another look at the make when I get home later.

Are you actually allowed out of your house unaccompanied then?

I have a sneaking suspicion that 4D may have a profound intelligence laying just beneath the surface. In much the same way an autistic person may be unable to tie their laces but can recall Pi to 1,000,000 places from memory.

Tbh I've long since assumed he's just taking the piss. Not that it much matters, it's generally fairly amusing and occasionally I've learned something myself :)
