Trying to sell my van prior to return to UK - had 2 email replies in such bad English it's so fucking obvious. Why do they bother?

When I was trying to sell my Scenic I placed an ad in AutoTrader, next day I had a scam e-mail.  One morning I woke up to find another had not only requested details, but then sent another e-mail to confirm that the details were fine and wanted my bank details to deposit the money in - hadn't even replied to him!!!!  Bastards!!!!

Trick here is to realise nobody on the internet is real. It's just you.

How obvious can it be when someone agrees to buy a 2nd hand vehicle and doesn't even want to see it first.

The thing is though there's plenty of fucktards willing to do just that. 

Sadly, you are probably right. I suppose if the scammers fire off enough emails some poor sap will get caught

Seems like the email scammers have moved to another level... just had an email from my Dad saying he is in Limosal, Cyprus for a conference and had his passport and bags stolen and needs my help.

Now I know for a fact he isn't there and on closer inspection, whilst the senders email address is my dads, the reply to email address, whilst containing the correct the name points to yahoo.com not gmail.com...

I almost replied to it but then thought if the fucker has gone to Cyprus without telling me then he can go find a bar over Christmas and work his own shit out...

I had a lovely chat on facebook with someone who I havent seen for 10 years who was apparently in the phillipines but had been mugged and had his passport and wallet stolen.

I strung it out for quite sometime before saying 'Andy, how do you know me?'.  Strangely enough I got no reply.

He died from brain damage as a result of the attack a week later.

If only Id been less suspicious.

Unbelievable - Bloke my Brother works with has lost his savings over £10K on some "Woman" who needs money to come over to see him. Now this bloke is over 50 and you want to see the picture of this Woman. Yeah you got it stunning.

Well despite so many people telling this was a hoax he went hooked, line and sinker and sent the money.
It wasn't as if he sent the money in one go. The story got even more bizarre, like her Mum needed money for an operation etc.

Sorry - This makes me angry but how can some people be so fucking stupid !!........arghhh.

The bloke is a fucking idiot and deserves to be ripped off.

How sad their lives must be to fall for such shit. Feel sorry for people like that. After laughing at them first of course

Actually enjoy insulting these scammers by pretending to be one and using language that they understand. You can get some great replies from them ...
