Yeah, just saw that. That clearly explains the loan deal being delayed. I don't really understand why Wednesday would be even thinking of loaning him out if he is right in the first team reckoning.

What I saw in the bits of the Boro Weds game that I watched was that Madine scored and then missed a guilt edge chance. He didn't seem particularly quick, wasn't bad in the air but didnt look a clinical finisher. He also looked to be blowing out of his arse at the end!

I would imagine the way PDC slated Sheff Wed in the press over the handling of the Giles Coke injury might not play too kindly with Dave Jones. He might well just stick 2 fingers up at us and refuse the loan.

I thought that but surely if that was the case it wouldn't have been contemplated in the first place?

With a court case pending (today?) maybe they waned to dump him anyway!!
