Title: Roberts Post by: Ralphy on Monday, August 1, 2005, 11:48:35 Robbo is god, my favourite town player.
Just needs to get his fitness back. Title: Roberts Post by: DV on Monday, August 1, 2005, 11:54:19 Wont even make the team!
btw, Migz is my fav player! Title: Roberts Post by: Ralphy on Monday, August 1, 2005, 11:59:49 Robbo will make the team, you wait and see.
When he's fit, there is nobody quicker or better at setting the strikers up. Good vision. Title: Roberts Post by: janaage on Monday, August 1, 2005, 12:00:13 My first ever favourite player was Peter Coyne. That is all.
Title: Roberts Post by: Ralphy on Monday, August 1, 2005, 12:03:41 I love Robbo's image and his arrogance.
I love the way he winds players up and thinks he's the best! Class 8) Title: Roberts Post by: Nomoreheroes on Monday, August 1, 2005, 12:07:56 He is not a patch on Dave Bamber !
NMH Title: Roberts Post by: OOH! SHAUN TAYLOR on Monday, August 1, 2005, 16:10:22 I love Dave Bamber AND Peter Coyne.
FACT! Title: Roberts Post by: reeves4england on Monday, August 1, 2005, 16:16:25 Roberts is one of the most underrated players in our side. Just watch our performance in the 4-1 win against Sheff Weds last year and you will see how he has the ability to tear defences to shreds.
Just wish he would do it more often. Title: Roberts Post by: Bedford Red on Monday, August 1, 2005, 18:56:39 If Roberts plays like that, and other games when he first joined us I agree he's class. I just hope he's fit and interested this season.
Dave Bamber, I was just talking about him with my Dad yesterday as we were watching a local friendly match, the penalties he won us, and he drove a Lada! And Peter Coyne, sponsored his shirt one season in the 80's, and when I sponsred the match ball against Northampton in 85-86 he got a hat-trick, top man. And he got the equalizer against Gillingham in the 87 play off final second leg. Not in the same class as Charlie Henrys goal that night but just as important. |
