Title: County Ground Tours Post by: AldbourneRed on Tuesday, October 30, 2012, 15:59:50 Just got back from a tour of the County Ground, if anyone has ever considered going but not got around to it I can highly recommend it. We got shown almost everywhere in the ground, the only place off limits was the actual pitch, had all our questions answered and generally were treated to a very interesting, relaxed 2 hour tour behind the scenes of STFC.
Highlights included
The tour was really good fun, Chris and Kay who showed us around were brilliant hosts. The fact that the place was building up to the match tonight made it all the more special. If you've never done it, especially if you have young town fans who might be interested, then I'd say book on the next one. You can't go wrong for a very reasonable eight quid. . So, who's playing then?[/list] Title: Re: County Ground Tours Post by: AldbourneRed on Tuesday, October 30, 2012, 16:12:59 They have all the first team kit up, regardless of whether they're in the match squad or not, presumably so Paolo can change his mind up to when the team sheets are released

What did you nick ? Simon Ferry's comb - cue the "simon ferry's washbag song" Title: Re: County Ground Tours Post by: Dostoyevsky on Tuesday, October 30, 2012, 16:20:08 When I was 12 me and my family had an impromptu guided tour around the ground by the ex physio, who sadly commited suicide oweing to the pressures of his wife's terminal illness. That was a once in a lifetime experience. Got to handle Hoddle's kangaroo footy boots.

Wouldn't dare separate Ferry from his comb - imagine if he was up for an easy headed winner in the last minute and missed by the height of his unusually flat hair, I could never look at myself in the mirror again!
