Health problems have kept me away so far, and I can't wait.
Hope my lucky charm of never seeing us lose a league game last season continues from the 20 odd games I attended last season.

Coventry only sold 698 advanced tickets. It's pay on the day for them so who knows who many they'll bring.

It says on their site they've sold 1200 and they can now only buy at our place on the day. Should be a healthy away following.

Yeah, just read they can still pick up from the Rioch? But no longer on line. Sounds as if there will be plenty coming without tickets to pay on the day.

Basically they have sold out the Arkells and that pay on the day will be the Stratton Bank.

Once again, they've sold 698 according to today's update on their official facebook page.

Tickets sold out for Swindon but you can pay on the gate on Saturday. No matchday price increase but student prices wont be available.

Me too, should be a good game with a big crowd.  I'm taking my 9 year old with me for his first match this season, he told me he is looking forward to seeing Paolo and his amusing sideline activity again after last year he spent more time watching him than the games!!!

My cousin's a Coventry fan, he's coming down and sitting with us in the Don Rogers stand.

Now let's give 'em a hiding.

I hate Coventry. I used to live very close to it (Nuneaton) the year they were relegated from the Prem. They were outraged at the time that the whole country was talking about how sad it was to see Leeds go down but nobody gave a fuck about them.

Absolute shit hole is Coventry.

Even though it is the very epitome of failed, post-War, motor-dependent town planning, I have always been curiously impressed by Coventry's inner ring road.  You see lots of plans from the 1960s that involved wholesale destruction of urban areas so that a well-meaning planner could send 6 lanes of elevated concrete through the back streets...but most (thankfully) never came to pass.  The difference with Coventry is that the Luftwaffe had already taken care of the demolition, and that the road building pipe dream actually became a reality.

It's true, the Luftwaffe did pretty much flatten Cov. I still wonder when it will be rebuilt.

What gets me is that they flattened Coventry, and we flattened Dresden.  Here are a few pics from Coventry and from Dresden.  Who do you think did the better rebuilding job?

for my sins I was a student in coventry, spent a few saturdays watching them in the era when they were going to be rebranded the "coventry Talbots"!! my student accomodation looked out on the bus station and the flyover- heady days of cheap beer and live bands in the union- no wonder I didn't graduate.

I like Coventry...a place that gave the world The Specials has to be OK by me.

I'd be interested if you could find out who paid for the rebuilds....post war, Britain was essentially bankrupt, you'd have thought the Hun would have been also.

Taking rellies from NZ to the game tomorrow and not sure where to take them pre game as driving (would have been gluey on the train), so its CGH or legends, question is I read somewhere they were going to make legends ST holders entry only, have they? As i havent been in there since the Vale game
