Swindon and Colchester condemn online abuse
           
           



  SWINDON Town and Colchester United have both spoken out against the online abuse aimed at former Robin Michael Rose over the past 48 hours.

He didn't tweet it to Rose so its not online abuse,its just a horrible comment.

Bit rich of the Colchester spokesman saying: “We try to make sure our players are respectful on the pitch and we would expect fans to be the same off it.”

Well you failed to make sure your player was respectful on the pitch. He had barely been booed that night because people couldn't muster the energy to be bothered (compare with Austin who was 100 times the player for us and got serious abuse despite rose being much the more deserving) and yet still decided to taunt the fans at length. He brought everything on himself when he did that, and while i can't condone those sorts of comments, they were predictably going to crop up from some sections of our support base once he'd chosen to provoke them like that, and i won't muster any sympathy for him either.
