It's Paolo's way or the highway as manager outlaws 'anarchists'

I know we only read the bits the adver want us to read to make a story, but if I was Jeremy Wray and had to manage PdC, I would be starting to have concerns about him about now. The club has invested big time in the playing squad, and can't afford for PdC to continually alienate senior players. A good manager should be able to convince senior pro's that his methods are valid without having to make ultimatums.

Of course there is a flip side to the argument that players on thousands a week should be expected to train exactly how you tell them without complaint, but having managed departments with some pretty big characters in, you have to be able to manage each person individually to get the best out of them. "You are with me or against me" is only ever going to be divisive.

very well said.

...but with the caveat that it seems to have worked so far, so what the hell do we know?
