If Tottenham wanted to keep him long term they'd have offered him a new contract, so I reckon the main stumbling block with a permanent move (to any club) is his salary. Provided it goes well and we're near the playoffs come January I reckon he'll be here a while.

Got the impression he was happy here so he must get on with Paolo, besides he wouldn't be coming back if he didn't.
If he thinks Paolo is the man to turn his career round then maybe the money won't be such an issue. |
