Louise Clarke one of the original members passed away yesterday. This will only be interesting news to those of us of a certain age and everyone else's Dad or Grandad. She was my personal favourite so really sad news and only 63 years of age. RIP.

Yeah really sad news as you say. Them and hot gossip...........

Lightened many a Thursday evening for those poor unfortunates like me who were away at all-male boarding schools......  My sister-in-law was the original lead dancer in the other great dance group of the day, Young Generation...

Yes, being of a certain age, a dad and grandad, Pan's People were always worth watching and Louise was my favourite also.

Some of you may remember that they appeared here at the CG when a stage was put up in front of the Arkells stand and there were a two/three "pop" concerts (as they were quaintly called) put on. Sure that Lulu was one of the acts but for the life of me cannot think who else appeared.

Marmalade were one. I was walking down Queens Drive on the way to my girlfriends that evening and their limo stopped and asked me for directions to the CG. It would have been around 1971.

Lindisfarne were another, used to quite like them until they teamed up with Gazza for that Fog on the Tyne crap.
