Title: Champions DVD
Post by: Larman on Tuesday, August 21, 2012, 22:55:25
Hi all,
1st thing I done tonight before the game was pop in the shop for a copy of last years champions DVD...
:( then to be told they have all sold out, I did put my name down as well, ;( - never mind!

So quick question is: anyone who is willing to sell a copy or know where I can purchase one from?

Great game tonight

Alan

Ridiculous! I put my name down too. Well sent an email without response.

How many did they order in then? 10?

To be fair, you have had long enough to pick them up, it's not like they weren't talked about enough at the time.  If you put your name down why not go pick it up when they were announced in stock?  How long do you expect them to hold them for?

A couple of weeks into the new season maybe? Living in Reading it would cost me £15 in petrol and and at least an hour's round trip to pick up a DVD that cost a tenner. Ok i should have got it posted. That was £4.50 though so just thought i'd pick one up first home league game of the season.

I wasn't even sure I'd bought one, so went in yesterday lunch time and asked. To my pleasure I had. Also to my pleasure is the fact that had I waited until the match to see if I had one, I would've been in the same position as Larman.

Why can't they put it up on iTunes and Amazon and whatever?

I don't do DVDs but I'd buy a download.

Just been having a little watch of this. I've never bought of watched one of these before and as I don't ever watch highlights of losses, it's quite good to see highlights I've not seen before. What's also noticeable, is something I'd forgot and it was how bad we were at defending set-pieces to start with. Fuck me did Di Canio sort us out.

I have the DVD from when we won the league in 2006 or whenever it was. As I have moved house and have no telly I went to watch it in the DVD player.

And it told me it couldn't be played. Stupid DVD

This DVD was blatantly made in someone's bedroom, some of the quality of the highlights is laughable
