Mexs pub.

He might get his staff to get them out for you

I can give you a list of decent boozers. I'll post it when I get home later after a few post-work beers.

Right.. Boobies.

I'm not up to date on Brighton's strip clubs but the two I wander past in town most frequently are Platinum Lace http://www.platinumlace.co.uk/strip-club-brighton and Grace http://www.graceofbrighton.com/ I think Platinum Lace is the upmarket one but is pricey by all accounts. I don't know anyone who's ventured into Grace so I can't comment. Apparently you can get the stag up on stage with two women for £70.

Pubs
Right.. I'm taking your description of relaxed nice boozers literally so this is a list of decent places to go for a pint in Brighton. They'll all be busy on Friday / Saturday nights but they're not 'classic' stag do places (those will be found on West Street).

Station/North Laine
West Hill
http://www.thewesthill.co.uk/
Mex's pub. He'll be fucked off if you don't show your face at least once. It's just up the road from the station and it's open till 3am with DJs on Friday and Saturday nights (I think!).

Evening Star
http://www.darkstarpubs.co.uk/
Has it's own micro brewery. Massive selection of beers / ales. Tiny though.

Prince Albert
http://www.facebook.com/ThePrinceAlbert
On Trafalgar Street, just down the hill from the station. Popular music pub, lots of gigs.

The Basket Makers / The Eagle / The Fountain Head
http://basket-makers-brighton.co.uk/
http://www.beerintheevening.com/pubs/s/64/6475/Eagle/Brighton
http://www.drinkinbrighton.co.uk/fountain-head
3 Decent pubs within 100m of each other. Very popular places. The Basket Makers in particular is nicely old School. The Eagle and the Basket Makers do good food. The Brewery Tap (http://www.mybrewerytap.com/bars/brighton.html) is new but already has a good reputation.

The Waggon and Horses and Mash tun are also nearby and are very popular. Big outside areas, bit of a festival atmosphere on a warm evening.

Central Brighton

Northern Lights
http://www.northernlightsbrighton.co.uk/
Cool little Scandinavian pub tucked away. Sometimes busy, sometimes not. Good selection of quirky Scandinavian drinks you've never heard of..

Cricketers
http://www.goldenliongroup.co.uk/bars-and-pubs/cricketers
Old School pub.

Fiddler's Elbow
http://www.beerintheevening.com/pubs/s/33/3356/Fiddlers_Elbow/Brighton
Proper Irish Pub.

The Bath Arms
http://www.shepherdneame.co.uk/pubs/brighton/bath-arms
Very Central. Decent Boozer. Decent Food.

St James Street

This is my neck of the woods. It's a 5 min walk from town but there are endless B&Bs in the area so you'll always see stag and hen dos in the area.

Black Dove
http://blackdovebrighton.com/
Riding on the retro 30s/40s/50s wave. Not everyone's cup of tea.. but fun and friendly and a good selection of drinks.

Brighton Rocks
http://www.brightonrocksbar.co.uk/
Small and a bit trendy but can be a nice venue.

The St James
http://www.beerintheevening.com/pubs/s/20/2098/St_James_Tavern/Brighton
One of my favourites. Busy and not much seating. Good music and over 80 types of rum available.

The three and ten
Just down the road from the St James. Worth a stop if you're passing by.

Other random pubs of note (in no particular order) are: The Black Lion, The Hop Poles, The Seven Stars, The Fortune of War.

I'll leave the pubs there because if we're on the wrong wavelength then it'll have all been in vain! I'm sure Mex will slate me too!

Clubs are a little bit more tricky with a large group of men so I'll leave that to someone else! The same goes for bars as they're just not my thing.

Cheers for that I've been in a few, and down there saturday. I remember there are a few good ones out hove as well from (frazzled ) memory. You can confirm BR, but is it still drivers licences for the clubs down near the pier? As many many people have been refused for no id in my trips down.

Yeah, a lot of the sea front clubs still want ID (pretty much regardless of your apparent age). They'll often make exceptions if it's one or two members of a mixed group without ID but on the flip side they'll often turn you away as soon as they find out you're a big group of lads.

Best to split up and make sure you've got ID.

The chain clubs/pubs on west street are usually a lot more accommodating to the big groups.. and you'll be surrounded by a lot of girls wearing next to nothing.. but also a load of coked-up twats from the surrounding area looking for the smallest reason to have a go.

Brighton red has it spot on, my pub is open from 4pm on fridays til 3am and serves amazing burgers til 10pm, we have 50s/60s djs on friday and indie music saturday, we are literally 100 yards up from the station.

Clubs are shit down the seafront and west street, generally generic bollocks, let me know the weekend you are coming and i will delve into what is on...

Thinking about it, the route br states is a good one, start at mine by the station then i would do the albert, basketmakers, mash tun, bath arms, fortune of war on the beach. That will give you a good look round brighton and all good pubs. definately fill up your tummies at mine though, will be a long night. :)
