Puts us as bottom of the Championship for average away following, I think that's pretty decent.

And you'd expect that to swell slightly if we are doing well at a higher tier this coming season. Maybe tempered a bit by the number of northern teams we have to visit.

We took over 700 to a preseason friendly ffs which is more than most of L1 and L2 averaged last season. Very decent away support.

Interesting to see our average away support was better than Bristol City despite them being 2 leagues above us at the time.

Oxford 2nd in League 2 with 826 (to our 892)

Do we know how many they brought to us and whether that had an impact?

I think they brought about 2,500.  Assuming that's right, their average would have been

((826 x 23) - 2,500) / 22 = 750

over the other 22 games.

If they had got the same amount of tickets for us as we had for the game at the Kassam then their average away following would have been 802 but if we had the same amount of tickets as they had at the CG then out away following would have been 918 or there abouts.

Got to factor in their shit season and our good one having an effect on the figures.  They would have smashed out figure if they were going for promotion.

Hate to admit it, but that's still pretty good for the Pox even without their "cup final" County Ground boost. I wonder if their average went downwards when their season came off the rails in spectacular style?

The real admiration has to go to Plymouth for being 3rd in L2 with an average of 723 despite their crap season.

Come on - they were in and about the play-offs all season so, historically, they should have/did have a good away following.

It isn't as if they were middling about with nothing to play for all season.

Let's see what happens this season when they are more than likely to be middling about

Ah, so!

Then you are correct - thought you were on about the Pox

Best fans in the league!!!

Hope we can repeat this for this season!

We must have sold our away allocation 4 or 5 times at least last season-Wimbledon, Cheltenham, Pikies, Gas comes to mind straight away (think for Gas we went back to ask for more tickets)

those figures won't include our fans that we're in the home ends, when we sold our allocations either so it could be even higher

Fantastic support, would think that would increase if this season goes to plan. It's the only attendance figures I contribute too and I'm always proud of how many we take away
