i think after a what seems to be a couple of minor alterations it now looks ok, thought it looked awful earlier on.

I'm not sure it's an improvement, it still looks a mess. Does that mean we're now no longer part of city-visitor deal?

Is it a different url? Looks the same to me as it's always done.

Either they've pulled it or a nameserver/DNS update is slowly making its way through the internet over the next day.

Is this going to be the same style for all clubs or are we moving away from the 'generic' ones?

From what I read there is a choice of templates. Not sure how many templates, but all clubs will conform to one of them.

I like it. But loading it on a phone is a right bitch. Gives my S2 a spasm.

I never really look at the official site.  The Town End, the Washbag and the Adver cover it all for me.

Seemsto be a depressing trend at the moment.

Still, at least it is easier to navigate than the bbc sport website.

I've finally got the new format. I think it looks great. A vast improvement on the old one.

It's much nicer. An improvement and therefore better for stfc. Good idea maybe for a view from each area of the ground when selecting ur seat.

Keep quiet and use the old one! I cant see how anyone can say it's better, it's like they've let a blind guy on acid with no knowledge of what a website should be loose on it.

Got the new one earlier and now back to the old one.  Hardly a seamless transition this.

The old one was dated but you could find what you wanted easily. This one won't even  let find the fixtures even when I click the relevent tabs.

Works for me. Doesn't show the pre-season fixtures though.

The old site has a link with ticket details for the Supermarine game on Monday.  The link however takes you to the town player.

Something has broken since yesterday. Fixture list keeps reloading the home page (firefox).

It didn't yesterday...It showed all fixtures (including pre-season).

Doesn't seem to have been planned or executed very well.

Should have moved the domain to a name server with a short ttl, to avoid the dns cascade and caching delay. Old site has been left active with out of date information. Mobile site is very slow to load and even when it does it simply doesn't work. Can't get the new site on my laptop, no doubt the old dns is being cached but I really can't be arsed to do anything about it.

Not the best time to update it either, ideal time would have been straight after the end of last season.

My first thought was confusing and messy. Yes, image-based websites sell products better than text-based sites, but I just want to read news and information about my club!

I'm sure I am pointing out the bleeding obvious, but Its not just us that has the new format, seems a number of football league clubs use the same website format so I guess this is website wide, rather than a Swindon decision.

I just want the commentary to work.

I've changed my mind. It's actually a bit shit. None of the links to STFC Player work and it just doesn't work properly :crash:

I gave it a week and I agree. Too cluttered/broken/rubbish.

Don't use the OS that much anyway, so I won't lose sleep over it.

I use the official site less and less these days due to getting news quicker elsewhere.

The new design is fine, I've experienced no problems thus far.

I really dislike the new site.
I've given it a few weeks, to give it a chance, but it is crap.

I went on there today to look up something about the coaching staff, but if you click on coaching staff it takes you to Aden Flints view of last night. I would love to know how the site traffic is doing.

Still, I got what I wanted from Wikipedia, so no need to use the official site.

The fixtures list is rather poor and it takes several clicks on the same link on Player to view a video
