Any good? About to sign for us apparently, possibly a 6 month loan.

He's not very good, hence why we're selling him and you're signing him.

No idea, only featured in 7 games then vanished. Should be OK in the pub league though.

Not good enough for the champions, so yeah, probably good enough for you.

The one cameo i saw of him, he looked lively and tenacious - then he never played again. Not really sure what's gone on there, as he didn't look rubbish.

What LS says. I though the looked decent on the few occasions he played. Obviously a falling out with di canio behind the scenes

On his debut came on as sub against Crawley and looked very good. Played very little afterwards and when he did he looked very ordinary. There's either a player in there and you struck lucky or he flattered to deceive on his debut and you've got a very ordinary player.

From what little I saw of him I liked him. Seemed to pass the ball well, often played it simple, not afraid to tackle and was as strong as an Ox. I thought he'd become our new holding midfielder, but really that's based on little more than guesswork and generalisations because I think I only saw him twice.

Spot on.....good luck to him.

The not owning up to getting pissed debate cost him i reckon.

I raised this point a couple of weeks back, he has been in good form for both Pox and Plymuff this season, muff fans saying they would love to try and sign him at the end of the season.

This must have been spoken about but if say the embargo does not get lifted yet say Cheltenham go up automatically then surely Benson, Caddis and Cox can return to us should we end up in the playoffs?

Granted the Caddis one proves more tricky as we have Rooney

A few quotes from the Pasoti forum about Lee Cox, all of these in the last 3 weeks....

Quote
Cox 7 - another unfussy performance - what we needed

There can't be many or any better CMs in this league than Lee Cox. In every game I've seen him play for us, he's had the better of the opposing midfield and he can certainly play a bit too. Sublime player and he's what we've needed all season. He could be the most important signing we make this Summer.

I'd take Cox in a heartbeat.

Cox. 3rd MOM in a row for me. What a signing.

Coxworked so hard breaking up play and using the ball intelligently.

MoM - Cox again for me. No nonsense, nothing flashy, but hugely effective.

I'd hate for us to miss out on singing someone like Lee Cox.

Cox is out most talented player.

If we stay up we must keep Lee Cox.

Very pleased with Cox, if all works out and we stay up I would like to see him here permanently next season.

Cox got my vote for MOM ran it for us today.

Cox was absolutely phenomenal today.

Cox - 9/10 - Typically solid game from him today. Strong in the tackle, industrious and always looking to win the ball back.

Cox was immense today.

I think Cox will be back here next year, imagine he's just the sort of player the new boss would want.

he signed a 2 and a half year deal i think.

Big difference between looking good in a bottom Div 4 side and a top end Div 3 side.

And from what I have seen there is not a big gulf in standard between this division and the one below.

Like the much maligned Alan Navarro, I think we saw some glimpses of quality when he first joined, and while injury has hampered Navarro, Di Canio hampered Cox. So it surprises me when I see negative comments about players who've hardly had a chance to show what they can do (I cannot recall exact posts, but I definitely recall seeing comments to the like of "he's shit, get rid"). Cox still has a lot to prove here, not his fault he didn't get the opportunity.

Good point; no telling whether the slight that so offended Di Canio was real or imagined.

Still only 22. Think we will seem him back here next season.

Presumably both he and Caddis will be eligible for us in the playoffs, albeit it would be hard to justify either playing.

Wish we had both available for the run-in although arguably A. Rooney is more useful to us than Caddis would be considering our striker situation.

I'd welcome back all three of our loan players at the end of the season. God knows we could do with the numbers.

Don't think Cox was ever given a fair crack of the whip, Benson is more than an adequate League 1 forward and certainly no worse than we already have and we all know Caddis is good enough for this league (whether or not he'd want to come back or not remains to be seen).

I've been to a few Plymouth games recently and he has definitely impressed, would have him back here for next season.

I personally think he would do a better job than miller is doing at the minute as he's very good at harassing and winning the ball back, got a decent pass on him as well. Would do well at this level

Never saw enough of Cox to really see what he could do and initially was not that impressed, but how he was told to play may have had more of a bearing on his few performances.

None too sure if we will see any of the loanees back here wearing the red again but I have been wrong before and if they are still under contract then I guess KMac would need to have some sort of say.

3 in 12. Hardly prolific.

Don't get me wrong he was superb last season but doesn't offer anything different from what we have here.

Better at heading than anyone we have. Better at finishing. Fox in the box. In my opinion obviously.  Would be nice to have him as another option, but we don't.

It's not prolific, but as I said he's scored a few and I'd rather they were for us than them. Also agree with Batch about his attributes, just a shame we don't have him as an option on the bench.

Its  not  all  about   Bensons  goal  scoring  tally,  but  his  hold  up  play  &  the   ability  to  bringing  other  players  into  the   further  attacking  positions  surely.  Prime  example  Dave  Mitchell  so  under-rated  but  so  badley  missed.

To have all 3 back would be good but realistically I can't see Caddis coming back. His stock has risen a lot. If Birmingham can't afford him then I can see a lot of Championship sides trying to sign him.

Agree with the Caddis scenario but if he does go then he should be worth a few bob to us. However, saying that, not sure how the one year option on his contract works and whether he could just go.
