Title: Tommy Miller Post by: Bob's Orange on Thursday, June 21, 2012, 14:48:12 A few Huddersfield thoughts on Miller.
Not massively positive but time will tell of course. http://downatthemac.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=70054 Title: Re: Tommy Miller Post by: reeves4england on Thursday, June 21, 2012, 16:24:05 He played a decent amount of games in a side that got promoted. I'm sure he can do a job for us.
Title: Re: Tommy Miller Post by: The Artist Billy Paynter on Friday, June 22, 2012, 08:44:27 Should be decent addition to the squad, loads of experience at L1 level. :)

We've had our fair share of them in the past. Title: Re: Tommy Miller Post by: Saxondale on Friday, June 22, 2012, 09:18:56 Always thought Hoddle was one who really got the potential out of some ok players.

As much as that, is the fact that a lot of these players wouldn't be coming to the club in the first place if it wasn't for Di Canio being here. Which will be worrying, when he leaves. Title: Re: Tommy Miller Post by: Flashheart on Friday, June 22, 2012, 09:25:23 I'm not going to worry about it, let's just enjoy the ride.
If when he leaves we are in the CH, then that can only be a good thing. Title: Re: Tommy Miller Post by: london_red on Friday, June 22, 2012, 09:28:36 Which will be worrying, when he leaves. True, if in the meantime he can build a strong squad who are playing good winning football then the risks of a mass exodus will be reduced in my opinion. And as Flasheart says, cross that bridge when we come to it, things are looking good at the moment. Title: Re: Tommy Miller Post by: Ardiles on Friday, June 22, 2012, 09:40:56 The advances we are makingn under PDC will improve our prospects of attracting a better quality of manager when he does eventually leave. I don't think we should really be worrying about that right now.
Title: Re: Tommy Miller Post by: LittleRed on Friday, June 22, 2012, 09:45:58 The higher we go the more chance of attracting a manager with a good pedigree. Especially if the infrustructure is in place to earn higher revenues, for example the ground redevelopment.
Title: Re: Tommy Miller Post by: LittleRed on Friday, June 22, 2012, 09:48:44 Also with him signing a contract, when he does go some form of compensation will be due I'd imagine. Money for building the team. I think it a win win with DiCanio either way if he goes or stays
