Title: Re: Good old Juve Post by: mrverve on Monday, May 28, 2012, 11:08:28 The allegations are from when Conte was manager of Siena and Criscito was at Genoa, nothing to do with Juve.
Title: Re: Good old Juve Post by: pauld on Monday, May 28, 2012, 11:11:22 But Juve do have substantial previous though don't they? Although it does seem unfair to pick on them, seems about half Series A and B are involved (e.g. Lazio's captain has been arrested in the most recent series of dawn raids, Atalanta's captain was banned recently) - it's a widespread problem in Italian football full stop, not limited to one club.
Title: Re: Good old Juve Post by: mrverve on Monday, May 28, 2012, 11:15:40 Yep, Juve have previous, however this current investigation has nothing to do with them. I was just pointing this out because Reg and SPW thought it was.
Title: Re: Good old Juve Post by: Swindon Please Win on Monday, May 28, 2012, 11:19:53 Yea, kind of skimmed the article first time round didn't realise these players were under investigation at different clubs. Still shows the mess of Italian football.
Changed the title now. Title: Re: Good old Italians Post by: pauld on Monday, May 28, 2012, 11:23:08 Fair dos, everyone's a winner! (As long as they've bribed the right officials sufficiently)

Like last time , I hope this creates a siege mentality amongst the Italian players and they go on to win the Euro's. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19079604 I love Italian football but how many more stories like this can it endure? Title: Re: Good old Italians Post by: bigbobjoylove on Saturday, August 11, 2012, 15:54:15 http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/7983014/Pesoli-in-hunger-strike
Some bloke on hunger strike over his ban. Title: Re: Good old Italians Post by: janaage on Saturday, August 11, 2012, 22:31:36 I love Italian football but how many more stories like this can it endure? I'd imagine, given the passion the Italians have for the game, they could endure many, many more controversies without the future of their game coming under too much pressure. |
