Title: Carpet Cleaning
Post by: LucienSanchez on Monday, May 28, 2012, 10:49:47
Hello...

Apparently I agreed to get the carpets in my house professionally cleaned when we move out... can anyone recommend a cheap company to use, or does anyone fancy forging an invoice for me?

We have to have an invoice from a professional service unfortunately, we can't do it ourselves. It was a fucking mess when we moved in, so I'm a little bit miffed that i didn't see this in the contract.

Squash it, and it just springs back,
Wash it, and the colour stays fast,,

Vanish carpet spray and a damp cloth should do it.

Nope, It might be in the old mental filing cabinet, but it's too far along the corridor to retrieve.

Was the messy carpet listed on the property inventory?

If not, and you can't get it cleaned up, you may end up having to replace the carpet!

Yeah, it is listed as being stained and in poor condition (they even replaced one when we moved in due to iron marks on it), but they are unmoving in making us get it cleaned professionally.

So again, if anyone has any recommendations of cheap companies or invoice counterfeitters, that'd be lovely.

I don't think they're cheap but I know they're good (as if you care!), it's also the company my Mum recommends to her tenants, Abacus.

I think this is their site.
