I don't know anything about him, what type of player he is, what his strengths and weaknesses are, etc.

His goalscoring stats don't look great, but they don't always tell the story.

Yes but look at the name of the twat that wrote it-"Mallorca"-Surely the same guy that sends an e-mail/text to Radio Swindon from Majorca every game. More than likely not been to a game for 25 years whilst exiled!

Somebody tell him that PDC is actually in Italy having a short break and clearing up his parents' affairs.  He is due back in Swindon next week.

Quite. What's a midfeler? And why is Al so wired? Too much of what this guy's been on?

So is he a midfeler (sic), a striker or another winger? I'm confused.

Used to be played on the wing where he wasnt very effective
Gary Johnson moved him up front and found form up front, and the rest is history.....

Similar to Connell in playing style I believe, so if he signs then I wouldn't be surprised to see Connell offloaded.

He's not someone who has impressed me in the past but his goal record last season suggests he has improved a fair bit. Good start to the summers business if this deal is completed

If he's similar to Connell then he won't be the only striker signed. We need either pace or brawn.

He is 6ft 2in which will be a good bit of height up front

We need either pace or brawn.
I think we will get both - a quality striker for a fee and an older target man type striker on a free.

He has spent alot of his career on the wing so you would like to think he has a bit of pace

So did McGovern, but he wasn't quick.

Then again shakes, o'b and onion bahji were all quick.

When was the last non shit town player with pace? Roberts?

Seems to talk the talk in this interview, instead of coming out with the same old bullshit a lot of players come out with when deciding to leave a club. Says it how it is. Fair play to him.

Welcome Andy Williams, if you do indeed end up signing!

I have seen him play a couple of times, he is quick, not lightening fast but quick, hes no O'Brien for speed but is almost as quick as Christian Roberts, he knows where the net is unlike Shakes and O'Brien, isn't bad in the air really.

Will/would be a pretty good signing, if he can score 16 goals in a crap team then surely with a good service he will get more with us.

I think this signing has the potential to be a bit of a Paynter/Fallon sort of signing, i.e. Haven't set the world alight in seasons gone by with previous teams, but haven't done too badly neither, whilst having the potential and ability to excel in a good footballing side.

Lets hope so anyway, eh.

George Ndah, is probably the quickest player I've seen in a Town shirt, who could also play a bit. Did cost us half a mill mind, so you'd expect something a bit useful for that sort of money.

Good call, and 1/2M was a lot of money but we made it back with interest.

The sale of Ndah coincided, approximately, with the beginning of our demise. At least that's how I remember it.

Fuck me, that boy could run.

It wasn't just Ndah, we were selling anything that wasn't nailed down at that time, which just happened to include Ndah.

One of my favourite Town players as it happens, and yet another Town player who did absolutely nothing after leaving us.

No, absolutely. The same thing happened with Sam Parkin breaking his ankle (I think) when he went to Ipswich. The end result was the same - once he left Swindon his career was over in a meaningful sense. It just seems to happen to so many ex-Town players.

Alan McCormack is a bit nippy.

Alot quicker than he looks. I'd class him as a decent, pacey Town player.

I have noticed that as well - a great advantage when you're at the back
