If Crewe get promoted - Crewe. If Crewe don't get promoted - Swindon?

As we have offered him a contract and he is under 24 we will get a fee if he decides to go elsewhere, probably not much 50-100k I would imagine.

I'm not sure Crewe would want him if they go up.

He hasn't set the world alight there and he's been dropped to the bench recently.

Crewe fans say he's been shite for them.

The guy is focusing on Crewe. After Wembley, he'll sign somewhere and go on his holidays.

Done.

I have a hunch that both Bodins could end up at Torquay next season.

If they do, I can only see Bill staying there for one season unless Torquay manage promotion next year.  If he's not too good for League 2 yet, he will be soon.

I wouldn't begrudge Bodin a move away from here. Di Canio hasn't really given him much of a chance and he's more likely to get more games elsewhere.

True.  But PDC has shown faith in him by offering a new deal.  Billy will need to judge how many games he is likely to be getting (for example) at the end of next season, as he develops.  Unlike older players, such as Benson, he is not the finished article.  If he's going to be League 1 standardn within 12 months, dropping down to - or staying in - League 2 might not be the smartest move.

He's just waiting to see if Drogba, Owen and Angel sign

He's just focussing on the play-off final isn't he, i.e being a professional

Apart from the fact that a couple of weeks ago he was bleating about the fact he hadn't heard anything from Swindon about next season & was hoping that they would sort it out soon.

Once offered a 2 year deal, all of a sudden he's too busy to think about it now.

Is it just me or do I hear the words of an agent

He wasn't going to Wembley two weeks ago.

Bodin is hardly messing the club around.

Well, hopefully the 2 year deal is good enough that he can go on loan until he is good enough before coming back into contention at Town and spearheading our attack in the Championship!

If we are going to just loan him out again there is no point him staying.Shame really as he isn't league 1 standard yet so i think he will leave.

Billy is showning the right attitude Di Canio wants, focus on the next game then disscuss deal at the end of the season. Fair play to the young chap.

It's something I've avoided saying at the risk of being on the end of everyones anger.

Being completely honest, I'm not remotely bothered by what he decides to do. I think it might even be better for him to move somewhere like Torquay.
