Seeing as the season is pretty much finished, whats everyone's best away day been this year?
Also, best set of fans to come to the CG?

Personally I'd say Crawley away was my best and Plymouth probably the best set of fans in terms of size and noise

Best away days for me were Leicester and Southend (4-1).

Best fans to be come to the CG would have to be Plymouth. Fantastic support.

Northampton away was best away game for me.

Agree about Plymouth. Shrewsbury were quite loud for just 500 odd.

Away Day : Gills for promotion, Northampton for match action
Away fans : Macclesfield :)

Away day - Southend

Plymouth best to come to the CG

Best away day has to be Southend, with an honourable mention to the Crawley game.

Haven't been to loads of home games this season but have to say Plymouth fans were good.

Best Away- Northampton or Crawley

Best at CG- Definatley Plymouth.

Away day - both were actually nights. Southend for performance/result, Slave Traders for atmosphere.

CG - Shrewsbury made fair bit of noise

Away Day - Northampton, nothing could beat the end of that game, with Paolo on the pitch

CG - Would agree with Plymouth, good numbers & a decent noise too

I've been to every home game and it's Plymouth by a country mile. Fab
Havn't done many away tho.
Cheltenham
Crewe
Wemberlee
and Bradford in a couple of weeks time.
I'll have to choose Cheltenham.

Southend - not many of us there but a brilliant atmosphere in the away end (and result!)
Plymouth - pretty much the only away fans that opened their mouths this season

Would be a toss up between Southend or Crawley.

Southend was a good day on the piss, and Crawley was a cracking result
Wimbledon deserves a mention too, the journy on the bus home where I fell asleep and went on the route twice was a particular highlight  :pint:

Southend away was tremendous, Bristol City narrowly behind. Didn't go to Norfampton.

Best fans to come here Plymouth, but don't tell my housemate that because he'll be insufferable.

Northampton/Gills away

Plymouth support.

Wimbledon or Torquay were the best away games. Macclesfield on the friday night or Burton the worst.

Can't remember any fans at the CG this season that have really stood out.

I understand that most of us have blanked the day from our memory, but there were some away fans making some noise in August I believe ;)

I didn't think Crewe were that loud personally.

How could I forget? Saints were loud in the cup. Good shout posh!

Wembley away  :no: Northampton was good but Leicester better. Best fans at home goes to Plymouth even with their cockles and muscles song, or is it Molly Mallone  :)

Away. result wise Crawley and Northampton. Lash wise Wimbledon, with an honourable mention to Crewe.

Home Wigan And Plymouth. Plymouth also lash wise thanks to the signal failure at Ealing and the belgian lager from Reading.

Crawley and Southend away. Wemberlee was ok apart from the football  :headhurts:

Oxford home was good as got spasticated in Swindon then back in Oxford afterwards to drown my sorrows with scummers  :(  :pint:

AFC Wimbledon away for me and Plymouth brought a few at home!

That said, I enjoyed pretty much every away game I've been too this season!

Agree with the Oxford Home game. Went back into Town, then me my mate got a load of beer from the off license, sat on a hill near my house and drowned our sorrows!

Didn't go to many away games this season but Crawley was easily the best of the bunch. Smashed them with some fella called Kerrouche scoring a belter of a third, the away support on the terrace went mental! And to top it off, we gave Steve Evans a torrent of abuse!!

How good was that!!!

Wimbledon away was the best piss up.

Crawley away the best result.....fat fuck threw his notepad down when the third goal went in!

Most of the home games were pretty good....I pick out turkey as it really meant we were going up!

Oh yeah......any London train piss up will be good.

Best away = Northampton
Best Visitors = Accrington *snigger*

Best away = Leicester ( one of only 3 away games I did this year)
Best Visitors = Argyle

Only been to 7 or 8 home games (comming from Kent) but Plymouth definately stood out. Barnet away was good but Crawley tops it for me, mainly because of the 'circus' songs!

best away Leicester and beating City at a canter. Wasn't at the Plymouth match, no away fans have stood out for me. Worst away days, Burton and Shrewsbury.

Was certainly a good night. Seems like an age has passed since then! As you say, the circus songs at 3-0 up were great fun!

Crawley home and away were good. Plymouth fans were good. Dagenham away v bad.

Northampton away without a doubt. Can't comment on visiting fans as only been to CG twice this season.

Southend away and Plymouth at home for me......!
