probably been already but what the hell, who are you most looking forward to playing next season? what away games are you likely to go to? and were do you realistically see us finishing?

i'm looking forward to playing coventry and pompey

i also fancy going to pompey and probably sheff weds as i've never been to either grounds

we'll be in and around the playoffs maybe finish 2nd

Preston North End as we've not played them this since 1986.

well if wednesday go up then i'll go to preston, maybe even to sheff utd if they dont go up.

Looking forward to a summer break, winning the league on Saturday will cap a fine season!!!

I'm most looking forward to playing the teams we haven't played recently. Coventry, Pompey, Preston, Sheff U (?), Sheff W (?). I'm also keen to make my first trip to Bournemouth - I never seem to be able to go!

Coventry and Pompey for me, not been there before. Also Preston seeing as we havent played them for a hell of a long time!
Realistically, I'd take a comfortable season in mid table and build for the season after.

The greedy side to me wants back to back promotions through the play offs and we actually win at new fucking wembley.

Im really looking forward to a trip down to Pompy.... apart from having to listen to that prat who rings a bell for the entire game..

In addition though - I love the north east trips. Hartlepool away is always a great day out followed by a night out in Whitley Bay... old skool

I went to Preston in 86 it was a shithole of a place back then I know its been renovated but it was a horrible place back then have no desire to go back.

Never been to the new Donny stadium the keepmoat. I have about 20 mates that support Pompey so I will try and get along to that one, haven't been there for 20 years. I also have a few mates that follow Coventry and I haven't been to the Ricoh(!) before so thats a good un.

The rest are all a bit meh.

Excuse me for being a miserable bugger and no disrespect intended but I really cannot be arsed with playing the likes of Tranmere, Hartlepool, Carlisle and Scunthorpe.

I've said it before but league 2 is a far more romantic division to play in compared to league one where it has countless has beens picking up a wage rather than the hungrier players in league 2 wanting to better themselves even if their quality is not up to scratch.

I compare it to playing a computer game when you were a kid where you can't save your progress.
Each time you begin enjoying level one, but hate having to get through level 2 knowing level 3 with the end boss will be bloody hard but amazing nonetheless.

Analogies were never my strong point.

League one is where we've been most of our clubs life so it's never anything new or exciting so I'm hoping we can get out of it at the first attempt, there has never been a better time to have a go at storming that league.

Dont get me wrong, League One is going to go mental next season but I think Kaufman put across my feelings better than I did.  Still have decent trips to Portsmouth, Coventry, Bournemouth, Brentford etc to look forward to.

My concern next season is that there appear to be more 'Chesterfields' than 'Huddersfields' in league 1. Hopefully we can learn to play against these types of team, or we are going to struggle.

Sadly for Coventry, I've never heard a good report about the Ricoh.

Their ground is too big for them. Apperently they have never sold it out. Think it has good income revenue streams, otherwise they could be in the financial shit.

there are some really uninteresting opposition next year, hopefully that can work in our favour in a way. no leeds, sheffield, norwich, southamption etc.. Like before.

Counting our local derbies as Bristol (x2), Reading, Cheltenham and Oxford - when was the last season that we didn't have one?  I'm guessing the 1993/94 Premiership season.

Bloody typical that the year C*ty are bottom 3 that Portsmouth bale them out with the points deduction.

In general, we play poorly in local derbies (speaking as someone who actually goes to games). Our record against Cheltenham isn't the best and we've had some good beatings from Rovers, not to mention the Pox results.

True, we used to win plenty. I guess it's more in the last 10 years or so that we've struggled for some reason. We just don't seem to be up for the fight, perhaps because we consider ourselves superior to the likes of Oxford, Rovers and Cheltnum? Whereas we're usually up for it against City (because we're the smaller club?).

Went to the old Doncaster ground ("Andy King is now a steward" if anyone remembers that night), but not to the Keepmoat so that will be good, Coventry and either of the Sheffields if they stay down. Been to Hillsborough but not the Blades ground before.

You are forgetting that Alberto Comazzi modelled the black away kit too.  I am pretty sure that Vincent Pericard, Jonathan Douglas, Michael Rose & David Lucas modelled the kits for the 2010/11 season although I may be wrong.

The programme cover from the game that unveiled the 2011/12 kits has Ritchie, Cuthbert and Bodin 'modelling'.
