Post by: oxford_fan on Monday, April 23, 2012, 19:44:34 In my bedroom I've got a Samsung HD tv with built-in (standard, non-HD) freeview which I've been using fine for a couple of years now. I get a good picture even through my very budget £5 aerial from Argos. Ideally I'd like to get HD on there, but can I do it through my current set-up (the shit but currently effective aerial)? There's no connection from the big aerial on our roof into my room, and I don't want to faff around running wires around and drilling holes.

Conditional Access Module, used one on Top Up TV many years ago when it first started. It plugged into a slot in the back of the TV and you stuck your card into it. Had to download a software update for the Freeview HD box and put it onto a USB to plug into it, tuned to Sky Sports and was able to watch West Ham vs Cardiff in my bedroom. |
