Title: Worst Film Post by: Kinky Tom on Monday, July 25, 2005, 17:35:12 OK, going on from OJ's F4 thread, what is the worst film you've seen at the cinema?
The worst I've seen was Open Water - the true story about being left in shark water. Utter dog shit - the most pointless, boring film surely the UK has ever seen! Title: Worst Film Post by: hansgruber on Monday, July 25, 2005, 17:42:55 I thought War of The Worlds was pretty poo. But you can't beat Pearl Harbour for the worst film in history.
Title: Worst Film Post by: Ben Wah Balls on Monday, July 25, 2005, 17:48:36 The day after tomorrow was pretty shit.
Title: Worst Film Post by: lebowski on Monday, July 25, 2005, 17:49:40 "jay and silent bob strike back" was crap, "team america: world police" was shite, and "van helsing" was just pure gash, but i'm sure none of them are anywhere near as bad as miss congeni-fucking-ality 2 probably was.
Title: Worst Film Post by: red macca on Monday, July 25, 2005, 17:56:44 matchstick men i thought was awful.....
Title: Worst Film Post by: Bob's Orange on Monday, July 25, 2005, 18:05:45 Quote from: "Ben Wah Balls" The day after tomorrow was pretty shit. I'm with you on that one! :P Title: Worst Film Post by: DMR on Monday, July 25, 2005, 18:07:19 i-robot was lame

Title: Worst Film Post by: Dazzza on Monday, July 25, 2005, 18:22:15 Daredevil with Ben Affleck was the biggest piece of shit I have ever had the misfortune to watch.

Not the worst though.
Blair Witch was truley shocking. More scared watching ET  Title: Worst Film Post by: Spud on Monday, July 25, 2005, 19:35:06 Blair Witch
Daredevil Club Dread Title: Worst Film Post by: Piemonte on Monday, July 25, 2005, 21:13:10 I cant think of my worse right now, but "Jay and silent bob strike back" is comedy gold

Title: Worst Film Post by: Kinky Tom on Monday, July 25, 2005, 21:17:37 Perhaps.
Title: Worst Film Post by: sonicyouth on Monday, July 25, 2005, 22:34:14 I'm not a stoner and I'd fuck her until the world collapsed under the mighty force of her orgasm. Or something.
Only film I've ever been tempted to walk out of was Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. What a pile of fucking shite. I watched Aliens versus Predator today, that was pretty dire too. Title: Worst Film Post by: DMR on Monday, July 25, 2005, 22:36:49 I bet she's got AIDS
Title: Worst Film Post by: CARTMAN on Monday, July 25, 2005, 22:39:15 i still know what you did last summer is without doubt the worst film i have ever been forced to watch :(
urban legend 2, batman and robin, (the george clooney and arnie one) alien 3 and gigli are very close Title: Worst Film Post by: Rossi on Monday, July 25, 2005, 23:03:05 The film about when a group of people had to go to the centre of the Earth to plant an explosive to stop wierd stuff happening. Think it might have been called "The Core"? That was shit, I walked out halfway through!
Title: Worst Film Post by: flammableBen on Tuesday, July 26, 2005, 00:02:48 This is easy. 8 mile.
Although I never saw titanic or pearl harbour at the cinema otherwise it would be a close run thing Title: Worst Film Post by: Nomoreheroes on Tuesday, July 26, 2005, 02:44:53 Whats-her-name's tits were nice in Titanic !
NMH Title: Worst Film Post by: Leggett on Tuesday, July 26, 2005, 05:28:56 yea, i was diggin her as a red-head too. mmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
Title: Worst Film Post by: JMH75 on Tuesday, July 26, 2005, 07:20:37 Speed 2, utter pony.
Biggest pile of dog shite it's ever been my misfortune to watch. Would have walked out of the cinema but was on a date with a bird that I'd being trying to bag for ages. The worst sequel ever as Speed was pretty good, no classic but entertaining nether the less. Title: Worst Film Post by: Piemonte on Tuesday, July 26, 2005, 08:12:27 Quote from: "sonicyouth" I'm not a stoner and I'd fuck her until the world collapsed under the mighty force of her orgasm. The stoner comment was refering more to jay and silent bob! I'm glad I didnt pay money to watch alien v predator at the cinema, it was utter shite and I'm a big fan of both the alien and predator films Title: Worst Film Post by: Kinky Tom on Tuesday, July 26, 2005, 08:18:26 Yeah, I thought AvP would be good fun - turns out I was wrong of course. :boring:
Title: Worst Film Post by: spacey on Tuesday, July 26, 2005, 08:44:15 Quote from: "sonicyouth" I watched Aliens versus Predator today, that was pretty dire too. I'd agree with that. Mrs Spacey made me watch Love actually :x It made me feel sick! Title: Worst Film Post by: Mexicano Rojo on Tuesday, July 26, 2005, 09:12:36 i have seen some god awful films since i bought a ugc unlimited card, you kind of feel obliged to go, worst this year were the queen latifiah one in a barbershop, the ice t one were he is looking after some kids, war of the worlds and that fuckin babysitter one with that van dam lookalike
Title: Worst Film Post by: BrightonRed on Tuesday, July 26, 2005, 10:28:01 The Village - What an absolute pile of wank, and for reasons I wont go into I had to pay and watch it twice at the cinema, pretending on the second visit that I hadn't seen it previously.
Reign of Fire - Plot holes anyone? 28 days later - Just a bad, bad movie. Can't remember if I saw it at the cinema or on DVD. Jeepers Creepers - http://images.contactmusic.com/images/reviews/jeepers.jpg I'm not gonna say any more. I actually thought the Blair Witch was an excellent film. I think I get most scared by suspenseful films which imply fear rather than in-your-face demons, zombies, dragons or ghosts. Title: Worst Film Post by: Whits on Tuesday, July 26, 2005, 10:30:54 i quite liked the village
Title: Worst Film Post by: Piemonte on Tuesday, July 26, 2005, 10:32:35 I thought 28 days later was great!
Jeepers creepers was stupid, but not that bad I thought Title: Worst Film Post by: Kinky Tom on Tuesday, July 26, 2005, 10:35:50 I thought 28 Days Later was quite good too. Jeepers Creepers was OK, and reasonable scary untill you found out what they were up against. Blair Witch is a very good film in my opinion, the sequel is terrible mind.
Title: Worst Film Post by: BrightonRed on Tuesday, July 26, 2005, 10:37:28 Each to their own!
I'm pretty selective about when I go to the cinema so when I come out disappointed or angry it sticks in my mind. 28 days later was ok I guess but Zombies just don't do it for me. The Village... hmmm... nope, can't defend it! Title: Worst Film Post by: magicroundabout on Tuesday, July 26, 2005, 10:38:29 The Village i agree with. Shocking film.
28 Days later was ace. Title: Worst Film Post by: Whits on Tuesday, July 26, 2005, 10:46:45 i think most people didn't understand the village, its a clever story line but you need to watch it a few times
Title: Worst Film Post by: DMR on Tuesday, July 26, 2005, 10:47:58 I bought 28 Days Later from HMV on Sunday, only a fiver
She asked for ID and I gave her my driving license (I'm 17), what a silly bint 8) Title: Worst Film Post by: Piemonte on Tuesday, July 26, 2005, 10:53:52 my nomination for worst film ever........ Bring it on again.
Thankfully I just wasted 90 minutes of my life watching it on sky rather than pay for it at the cinema, the mrs made me watch it, honest  The original wasnt that bad (not nearly as bad as I thought it would be anyway) and had the super fit Eliza Dusku in it which helped. The sequel has none of the original cast in it, none of the funny moments, no plot and unbelievably in a film about cheerleaders the birds arnt even that fit. fucking shit. Title: Worst Film Post by: DMR on Tuesday, July 26, 2005, 11:01:44 i'd have just cracked one off pieface
where we going on holiday then? Title: Worst Film Post by: Zurich Red on Tuesday, July 26, 2005, 11:04:48 Watching Titanic is the only time I have fallen asleep in a cinema, so it has to be up (down?) there with the worst of all time for me.
Mickey Blue Eyes was a shocker too..... in my defence, it was "Surprise Night" so I didn't actually know what was going to be on. Title: Worst Film Post by: DMR on Tuesday, July 26, 2005, 11:09:13 League of Extraordinary Gentleman was the equivalent of a savage buggering at the hands of Sonicyouth (i.e. not very pleasurable)
Title: Worst Film Post by: Piemonte on Tuesday, July 26, 2005, 11:15:04 Quote from: "dave_m_russell" i'd have just cracked one off pieface where we going on holiday then? fuck that, I got the mrs to suck me off afterwards as compo for watching that shite  I'm going to florida again Dave, if you try stowing away with us I'll tell them your a terrorist  Title: Worst Film Post by: STFC Village on Wednesday, July 27, 2005, 02:12:14 Quote from: "Whits" i quite liked the village   Thanks :soapy tit wank: Daredevil is utter tripe, Lost In Translation is pure, unadulterated crap and Pearl Harbour is ssshhhhheeeeeiiiiiiittttteeeee. However, worst film award goes to Harold and Kumar Get The Munchies, which i had the dis-pleasure of watching a couple of weeks back. Tbh what was i expecting?........ Title: Worst Film Post by: Foggy on Wednesday, July 27, 2005, 20:49:52 Jeees, wait until you have kids! Rocky and Bull Winkle...total shit..Robert de Niro ..what were you thinking of :|
Title: Worst Film Post by: Foggy on Wednesday, July 27, 2005, 20:53:10 Cabin Fever..Now there is a pile of festering dog turd wrapped up and presented as a film :D
Title: Worst Film Post by: genf_stfc on Thursday, July 28, 2005, 11:34:58 the Avengers was possibly the worst - and thats WITH Uma Thurman in rubber
Title: Worst Film Post by: Batch on Thursday, July 28, 2005, 12:11:15 AI
2001-A space odyssey ------------------- Frankie and Johnny The Horse Whisperer The last two are my own fault. Never agree to go and watch a film your other half suggests without checking out what it is about first. edit: Oooh, oooh, just remebered 'signs'. After the sixth sense this was truely a pile of unoriginal dog turd that people like to tell me "isn't really about the aliens". Title: Worst Film Post by: janaage on Thursday, July 28, 2005, 12:31:55 XXX - fucking crap walked out, the only film I have ever had to take such drastic action.
Jay and Silent Bob, Clerks, Chasing Amy and Mallrats are all excellent films, and I'm no stoner!!!! Cock-knocker was a legendary figure. Title: Worst Film Post by: DanOUFC on Thursday, July 28, 2005, 12:42:00 Quote from: "janaage" XXX - fucking crap walked out, the only film I have ever had to take such drastic action. Never seen it personally but just had a feeling it would be poo with no storyline Title: Worst Film Post by: janaage on Thursday, July 28, 2005, 12:46:01 Don't really want to start defending myself but to be honest I don't even think I saw any adverts, don't pay much attention to commercials, usually flick over to something else. I hate tv adverts with a passion.
I was going to the cinema quite a bit at that stage so wasn't that fussy what i watched. Thanks for the feedback though Dan. Title: Worst Film Post by: DanOUFC on Thursday, July 28, 2005, 13:13:37 Well you'll be happy to know there's a 2nd one out!
Title: Worst Film Post by: janaage on Thursday, July 28, 2005, 13:18:45 What's it about? Is it a love story between a wheelchair bound jew and an arab who lives up seven flights of stairs in war torn Palestine? They communciate only by using two cups and a piece of string, even though the jew, lost her voice after being shot by a palestinian sniper, who turns out to be the love of her life?
Title: Worst Film Post by: McLovin on Thursday, July 28, 2005, 13:23:30 Sounds like a good film, Jan.
My worst Cineam experiences include Thomas Crown Affair, The Matrix, that new Batman one, and Star Wars Episode 1. Title: Worst Film Post by: adje on Thursday, July 28, 2005, 14:37:38 Anything with Hugh Grant in it-never trust a man with floppy hair.
