Don't take it too seriously,Turkey actually had 4 players selected.Voting takes place during january and if you were to look at the Championship select team,Reading have 1 selected (Ian Harte). Let's face it how many times have they seen the player's they've voted for actually play? Max of two when they've come up against them i would suggest. Ian Harte's selection at left back in the Championship team would tend to back this up too. Don't think he's been bad but i doubt he'll be close to getting Reading's POTY. http://yellowsforum.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=fldiscussion&action=display&thread=8978 We have let in 11 goals less than the scum yet only have Caddis from our back 5 in there. Get a fucking grip you inbred fuckwits, look at the table and get yourself a dose of reality....you aren't very good and won't even make the playoffs this season. Maybe they are thinking of Duberry's goal scoring antics ;D Title: Re: Adver News: Caddis and Ritchie in PFA Team of the Year Post by: Peter Venkman on Monday, April 23, 2012, 09:07:46 Maybe they are thinking of Duberry's goal scoring antics ;D Hes their second highest scorer isn't he? pretty much all at the wrong end :DTitle: Re: Adver News: Caddis and Ritchie in PFA Team of the Year Post by: Processed Beats on Monday, April 23, 2012, 10:39:37 Would have had Wes and McCormack instead of Olejnik and McFadzean, and swapped Barnett for either Collins or Akinfenwa, but other than that it's pretty spot on imo.

There are some good realistic posters on that site, but in the main they are a ridiculous bunch! A lot of them still think we are bothered that we lost twice to them. Big hairy deal!! We are going and up and they aren't. Chances are he wouldnt have been eligible as a loan player perhaps? Title: Re: Adver News: Caddis and Ritchie in PFA Team of the Year Post by: Peter Venkman on Monday, April 23, 2012, 13:47:59 Was Wes even our player when the votes went in? Dunno but it does make sense, all votes had to be in by the 1st January. Also there are no loan players in the team at all.Chances are he wouldnt have been eligible as a loan player perhaps? Title: Re: Adver News: Caddis and Ritchie in PFA Team of the Year Post by: DV on Monday, April 23, 2012, 14:47:25 Voting for the team of the year (thats what its called right) by the turn of the year makes sense.
The fact that the seasons run into 2 different calender years means the team of the year doesnt make sense i general though.. Agreed, although I'd try to sneak in Powell. Not half as bad as these teams usually are! |
