In today's money, Fjortoft's £1.3 million transfer to Middlesbrough in 1995 would be £2.1 million.

Charlie Austin was officially undisclosed but was said to be £1.5 million up front with add ons up taking it up to £1.8 million, the same amount that Ipswich had bid and had accepted by Swindon.
