Caddis re-twisted his ankle on Friday and will be out for (at least?) 2 weeks.

Do you know if he was expecting to play in the final before he did that Batch ? Bet he was even more gutted about missing out if he was that close to a return. Sooner he is back playing the better but We need a fit Caddis for the run in.

Cheers, I knew he wasnt supposed to be to far away from a return, would ideally like to see Macca back in the middle but if not Bring flint back in and keep Macca at right back until Caddis is back. Don't think Paolo will risk putting Anyone but Macca at right back although Kennedy or Cibbo should be capable of playing either side as cover.

Hopefully Flint is back Saturday. My back 4 til Caddis is fit again would be: Macca, Devera, Flint, McEveley.

I'd keep devera at right back with flint and Mac central.

This has nothing specifically to do with risser, I just think that is the best option. Problem is it may destroy risser's confidence.

Risser is good back up, and that is what he should be.

I like Risser, I know he has his critics but fully deserved his MOM the other week, he was playing as well as anyone else on Sunday. You see even premier league defenders scoring own goals like his and did he actually get a shout from Wes? If not he should of. The only part of Rissers game that concerns me is his pace but apart from that he will give 110% every game and pops up with his share of quality goals.

There wasn't a lot Risser could do about the OG to be honest if he hadn't picked it up there was a Chesterfield player ready to pounce on it so I reckon there would still have been a goal anyway

He'd probably play Risser in midfield but I'd rather Smith played there.

I think if Risser got a run in the centre of midfield he would become the big hard midfielder we need, he has given the 110% when he plays but it must be hard going from CB to CM then back again. He gets stuck in but can also get the ball down & play, the only down side is that he doesn't have the pace that Smith does.

I think I'm in an increasing minority, but Risser shouldn't be in our starting lineup if possible. Yeah, he's had a few half decent games, but he's still technically limited and cumbersome, in both midfield and defence. If we can shuffle around to move him to the bench, we should do so immediately.

Risser is right for midfield on some occasions.  Where we need a defensive, neutraliser in midfield.  Usually away.  But I agree, I'd rather not have him in the starting 11 every game.

I am too then LucienSanchez. I like him, I have no problem with him. He is 100% committed and a good pro who cares about the club.

But I can't help but think we have better options at both the positions he can play. Smith in CM and Devera, Flint and obviously Macca as CB.

Just my opinion like.
