Title: Re: Fat Evans & Paolo in the Times Post by: cheltred69 on Sunday, February 19, 2012, 09:13:44 The way he's talking it makes it sound like they've knocked the premier league team out already.
In The Times article there was no shortage of people with bad things to say about Evans but the journo still seemed to be trying to make him come across a misunderstood lovable rouge. The one good thing about him (said by one of his current players!) was more than tempered by also saying that Evans is intimidating and young lads are genuinely frightened of him - i.e. add "bully" to his list of charactersitics. Title: Re: Fat Evans & Paolo in the Times Post by: Gnasher on Sunday, February 19, 2012, 11:16:21 I usually support the underdog (unless it's the Pox), however I really hope Stoke put 10 past them today.
Title: Re: Fat Evans & Paolo in the Times Post by: Langers on Sunday, February 19, 2012, 11:51:52 I can't decide if I want Crawley to win or not. If they go through, then it may take there mind off the league and lead to a fixture pile up.
However, I would also take great pleasure from seeing them get smashed :) Title: Re: Fat Evans & Paolo in the Times Post by: tans on Sunday, February 19, 2012, 11:52:24 I hope they get cunted
Title: Re: Fat Evans & Paolo in the Times Post by: Peacocks-Lucky-Coat on Sunday, February 19, 2012, 11:53:47 I really hope Stoke batter them, and hopefully put in a few "Stoke-esque" crunching tackles to teach the cunts a lesson.

Add Pulis to list of managers hating the Fat Cunt. Title: Re: Fat Evans & Paolo in the Times Post by: Spud on Sunday, February 19, 2012, 12:23:25 Yeah, Evans actually left his technical area and went onto the pitch. The bloke is a disgrace!

Title: Re: Fat Evans & Paolo in the Times Post by: No Longer Posh Red on Sunday, February 19, 2012, 13:05:48 I have just sent a complaint to the FA regarding Steve Evans
FA CUP - Crawley Town vs Stoke City I have been watching the TV coverage of this match, and wish to complain about the behaviour of the Crawley manager, Steve Evans. It is my understanding that as a manager you have to show respect, ans stay inside your technical area during the game. After a tackle by a Stoke City player (Rory Delap), Mr Evans not only showed a lack of respect (by waving his arms in a dramatic fashion), but entered the field of play. I am assuming that you will be taking the appropriate action regarding this infringement. Having recently seen another League 2 manager sent off on seperate occasions for either of these actions, the fact that Mr Evans perpetrated both will surely leas to an extended touchline ban. Don't suppose they will do anything, but fuck it. Title: Re: Fat Evans & Paolo in the Times Post by: Ralphy on Sunday, February 19, 2012, 13:14:39 http://www.firstrowsports.eu/watch/108632/2/watch-crawley-town-fc-vs-stoke-city.html . Title: Re: Fat Evans & Paolo in the Times Post by: gingernuggets on Sunday, February 19, 2012, 13:16:24 Get in Crouchie! Now we just need some red cards and injuries.
Would love Pulis to put in a complaint to see if the FA would take a prem manager any more seriously than lower league managers. Title: Re: Fat Evans & Paolo in the Times Post by: No Longer Posh Red on Sunday, February 19, 2012, 13:37:19 I really try not to get sucked into the "Hating people" based purely on football, but Evans really is a thunderous cunt, isn't he? Title: Re: Fat Evans & Paolo in the Times Post by: chalkies_shorts on Sunday, February 19, 2012, 13:39:33 I thought that Crawley had already beaten Stoke the way the fat cunt was talking yesterday. I thought they were the first 4th div team to beat a top team in 22 years.
Title: Re: Fat Evans & Paolo in the Times Post by: gingernuggets on Sunday, February 19, 2012, 13:46:36 What is up with their stupid fucking bell they ring every time they get near the area?? It was annoying when we played there but it's even worse on tv.

Title: Re: Fat Evans & Paolo in the Times Post by: No Longer Posh Red on Sunday, February 19, 2012, 13:55:45 I'm guessing Stoke won't want to score another goal, isn't it a £1000 fine for beating Crawley 3-0.
Or does it only apply if you do twice in the same season :) Title: Re: Fat Evans & Paolo in the Times Post by: OOH! SHAUN TAYLOR on Sunday, February 19, 2012, 14:03:10 I really try not to get sucked into the "Hating people" based purely on football, but Evans really is a thunderous cunt, isn't he? I wonder what Crawley fans think of him?Title: Re: Fat Evans & Paolo in the Times Post by: cheltred69 on Sunday, February 19, 2012, 14:49:54 Not that it would happen under our current owners but I'd seriously consider stopping going to STFC matches if we ever appointed Fatso as our manager.

Title: Re: Fat Evans & Paolo in the Times Post by: wiggy on Sunday, February 19, 2012, 16:36:48 I like his comments after the match on the BBC website
"I can't help but be disappointed by the match referee. I think from a second-half perspective, he has had a poor game for me and he is normally a very good referee." Presumably because the ref stopped doing what Evans was shouting at him to do. As far as the Delap sending off does, I don't think it should have been a red. Crawley were flying into tackles like that all game against us. They should have had a penalty though. Title: Re: Fat Evans & Paolo in the Times Post by: joteddyred on Sunday, February 19, 2012, 16:38:38 Just seeing the highlights on ITV now. Evans is an odious cunt, and someone needs to give that fat cunt a slap. Loving the fact that before the bit on Football Focus yesterday and highlights on ITV, it was mentioned we beat them 3-0 in the week. You just can't get away from it even when it's supposed to be all about Crawley! Let's hope Pulis puts a complaint in about Evans behaviour. Title: Re: Fat Evans & Paolo in the Times Post by: Summerof69 on Sunday, February 19, 2012, 18:06:30 The question is how is Steve Evans allowed to be a manager by the FA as he would beone of the few people to actually fail the Fit and Proper Persons Test if he ever is director of a football club.

Title: Re: Fat Evans & Paolo in the Times Post by: gingernuggets on Tuesday, February 21, 2012, 17:42:40 Also their long throw expert is out for a month courtesy of Delap's challenge on Sunday, and then his red card gets recinded. Love it.
Who would people cheer for in a Pox vs Creepy playoff final? Title: Re: Fat Evans & Paolo in the Times Post by: jayohaitchenn on Tuesday, February 21, 2012, 17:44:18 Pox.
Title: Re: Fat Evans & Paolo in the Times Post by: jayohaitchenn on Tuesday, February 21, 2012, 17:44:41 Actually, neither.
Title: Re: Fat Evans & Paolo in the Times Post by: Barry Scott on Tuesday, February 21, 2012, 17:51:56 Yeah me too. Love this comment on Creepy's site: "As Steve Evans has always maintained, Tyrone Barnett is the best striker playing outside the Premier League..." Ha ha. Sounds like they've got over a mil for him though. Over a million? Football has gone completely mad. He's 26 ffs. Oh well, there is a funny side in that Crawley will hopefully now struggle, albeit with swelling coffers from selling 2 never-beens for inflated fees. Title: Re: Fat Evans & Paolo in the Times Post by: gingernuggets on Tuesday, February 21, 2012, 18:01:27 The rumours are that it's closer to £1.4mil!
Guess Paolo wasn't too far off with his £2mil valuation of Ritchie. Title: Re: Fat Evans & Paolo in the Times Post by: DMR on Tuesday, February 21, 2012, 21:14:19 I have just sent a complaint to the FA regarding Steve Evans FA CUP - Crawley Town vs Stoke City I have been watching the TV coverage of this match, and wish to complain about the behaviour of the Crawley manager, Steve Evans. You must be joking. Get a life!
