It's copyright infringement. Most papers don't give a shit, particularly if you link to their online stuff and send traffic their way. The Times however have been particularly aggressive since the online paywall went up.

I really hope Championship Stoke give them a right pasting.

In The Times article there was no shortage of people with bad things to say about Evans but the journo still seemed to be trying to make him come across a misunderstood lovable rouge.

The one good thing about him (said by one of his current players!) was more than tempered by also saying that Evans is intimidating and young lads are genuinely frightened of him - i.e. add "bully" to his list of charactersitics.

I usually support the underdog (unless it's the Pox), however I really hope Stoke put 10 past them today.

I can't decide if I want Crawley to win or not. If they go through, then it may take there mind off the league and lead to a fixture pile up.

However, I would also take great pleasure from seeing them get smashed  :)

I have been watching the TV coverage of this match, and wish to complain about the behaviour of the Crawley manager, Steve Evans.

It is my understanding that as a manager you have to show respect, ans stay inside your technical area during the game.

After a tackle by a Stoke City player (Rory Delap), Mr Evans not only showed a lack of respect (by waving his arms in a dramatic fashion), but entered the field of play.

I am assuming that you will be taking the appropriate action regarding this infringement.

Having recently seen another League 2 manager sent off on seperate occasions for either of these actions, the fact that Mr Evans perpetrated both will surely leas to an extended touchline ban.


Don't suppose they will do anything, but fuck it.

Just seeing the highlights on ITV now. Evans is an odious cunt, and someone needs to give that fat cunt a slap.

Presumably because the ref stopped doing what Evans was shouting at him to do.

As far as the Delap sending off does, I don't think it should have been a red. Crawley were flying into tackles like that all game against us. They should have had a penalty though.

Loving the fact that before the bit on Football Focus yesterday and highlights on ITV, it was mentioned we beat them 3-0 in the week.  You just can't get away from it even when it's supposed to be all about Crawley!

Let's hope Pulis puts a complaint in about Evans behaviour.

The question is how is Steve Evans allowed to be a manager by the FA as he would beone of the few people to actually fail the Fit and Proper Persons Test if he ever is director of a football club.
