Title: Ticket allocation Post by: ronnie21 on Wednesday, February 8, 2012, 19:14:40 OS now stating that we have 30,600, not 36,000 tickets allocated! Could well be a typo but I know Watkins did state in a pre-Tuesday interview that if we got through we would get roughly 30,000. Incidentally, Chesterfield have been allocated just under 22,000. Don't know how they work these out, does it go on average attendances?
Title: Re: Ticket allocation Post by: Samdy Gray on Wednesday, February 8, 2012, 19:24:48 I read that it's basically whatever the clubs ask for i.e. however many they think they can sell.
Title: Re: Ticket allocation Post by: Processed Beats on Wednesday, February 8, 2012, 22:01:04 Any news on how tickets will be sold yet? Personally hoping for some sort of website like last time.

Via the ticket office, I heard. Title: Re: Ticket allocation Post by: ronnie21 on Wednesday, February 8, 2012, 22:22:50 Via the ticket office, I heard. Was in the ticket office last night after the game as I had found a season ticket, Jock told me they would NOT be selling from there. Title: Re: Ticket allocation Post by: Spencer_White on Wednesday, February 8, 2012, 22:36:30 I think 20k will be about enough this time. Just got to make sure we fill that bottom tier.

Being over pessimistic there i think. Reckon we'll take 25k. Nice warm march, day on the piss and the good prospect of a win will see us to at least that I reckon. Title: Re: Ticket allocation Post by: fittons_coaching_badge on Wednesday, February 8, 2012, 22:40:47 There is 6 weeks to the final so expect ticket sales to be quite steady. Alot of people may wait until the end of the month before buying their tickets when pay day is?
We will take about 25k. I think 36000 is the maximum we would get. The initial hand outs are just what the club asked for. Title: Re: Ticket allocation Post by: Notts red on Wednesday, February 8, 2012, 23:09:15 I think Chesterfield are selling tickets through their club and was hoping we would be doing the same. It would help with getting group or block tickets if we could do it through our own ticket office. If we could get them by next Tuesday night all the better, anything to help spread the queuing and telephone waiting times.

Title: Re: Ticket allocation Post by: fittons_coaching_badge on Thursday, February 9, 2012, 10:29:54 From briefly browsing Nick Watkins interview in the adver this morning he said:
* Tickets will most likely be sold through the same channel as last time i.e the online mob, so save up extra pennies for the admin fee/p&p. * He did also say he wasnt expecting tickets till some point next week, so I am thinking middle/end of next week. Chesterfield's are going on sale on tuesday though and I cant see why they would get their tickets before us? * Also he is looking into a special kits or somehting to mark the day. Please god let it be red!!!!! Title: Re: Ticket allocation Post by: Arriba on Thursday, February 9, 2012, 10:38:37 If we don't play in red I won't go. That was a huge error last time

Completely agree, there won't be any questions about playing in Red this time... Although, until we got through, they wouldn't be able to print tickets Title: Re: Ticket allocation Post by: Arriba on Thursday, February 9, 2012, 11:04:06 Can't see that happening again, arriba. JW doesn't repeat mistakes. I'm pretty sure you are right. Shame they won't flog the tickets at the county ground this time though. I suggest they open up the hatches and start sales on a sunday. Worked for the play offs in the 90s Title: Re: Ticket allocation Post by: Gnasher on Thursday, February 9, 2012, 12:36:51 * Also he is looking into a special kits or somehting to mark the day. Please god let it be red!!!!! I hear we'll be sponsored by Dulux and will wear antique cream-coloured shirts. Title: Re: Ticket allocation Post by: Batch on Thursday, February 9, 2012, 13:34:14 They got through before us ? Although, until we got through, they wouldn't be able to print tickets Yes they would, a Swindon/Barnet v Chesterfield ticket, but there is no rush like there was for the PO final. Title: Re: Ticket allocation Post by: Peter Venkman on Thursday, February 9, 2012, 14:41:47 Don't know if its anywhere else on here so I will post it....
Quote Nick Watkins has said tickets for the JPT final will be sold by a specialist ticket company after Wembley reporting yesterday Swindon Town box office would sell directly. |
