Title: Football Manager Post by: Boeta on Tuesday, July 19, 2005, 14:00:32 I've signed a pre-contract agreement with Darren Bent so he's going to join Doncaster in the summer of my game. However, when I did the deal several months ago I forgot to read the small print. Having just looked at his profile I noticed he was 23 and having looked at the transfer screen it shows I will have to pay £1.7m compensation which I can't really afford/isn't really worth it. There seems to be no way to cancel the deal now but in previous games you could. Is there no way out of this?

If you havent got £1.7million in the kitty then it will be cancelled when the transfer date arrives, if you have then im afraid you're screwed. :? If only the other parts of the game were true to life, then swindon would be riding high
