I love the story (if it's true) that he checked 24 homeless people into the Hilton Hotel over New Year and he drove around giving money to homeless people.

I love him. I mentioned him in the positive trivial thread and said he was like every cult hero rolled in to one.

Heard that when he visits Childrens hospitals, they all go straight to him as they see him as a naughty child. :D

If these stories really are true he shows a generosity unmatched by any current (or for that matter past) footballer.

I heard that on boxing day he went around loads of dodgy Manc estates, walked into every pub he found and left £1000 behind the bar for the locals to enjoy.

i know he walked out of a casino and gave a homeless person £1000

I'm warming to him. I originally thought he was a complete knob.

Now I see he is merely unhinged and is here to entertain us.

He also went in to a Manc College to use the toilets and walked into the teachers lounge to have a chat and then walked round campus with students.

Even if just 1 or 2 of these rumours are proved to be true then the man is a legend.

all this said, he did try and set off fire works in his own bathroom and started a fire.

I also read that a young kid came up to him at the training ground asking for his autograph, Balotelli asked him why he wasn't at school and the said something about being bullied.
Balotelli drove him to the school, got him and the bullies together and made them shake hands.

Again, no idea if it's true, but there are so many stories out there, some of it must be true.

He also refuses to give up smoking, he smokes 5-6 cigarettes a day :)

If only a quarter of the stories I've heard are true he really is a one off. Quite mad but the Premier League is certainly less dull because of him.

Has the party popper one been done? Didnt know what one was, asked and then let one of in Lescotts face, before returning to carry on icing his cake he was making in a school with some kids. Leaving every one else in the room open mouthed. Also loved the quote from noel gallagher saying that when he leaves city he will probably  be fired out of the ground by a cannon.

Think the guy is a hero, one of the best gems i read was that on Xmas eve he went into a pub on a council estate in manc put £1000 behind the bar then left for midnight mass and stuck £300 in the collection bowl at the church
