He'll be Swindon's next permanent signing.  Paul Jewell said he won't stand in Ronans way if he wants to leave as he is enjoying his football at Swindon

I'm happy enough if we sign him. Looks like a decent enough player. Not sure he's a prolific goalscorer though but then again we are doing well enough without one.

Definitely has bags of potential and i think Di Canio will get the best out of him

One thing which is frustrating me is that with the more and more and strikers we bring in Miles Storey is getting put down the pecking order more and more. He looked brilliant agaisnt Crawley, Pace is deadly in every league and he has bags of pace, also he his notching a few goals in the youths so he must know where the net is.

Could easily go out on loan in League Two already.

i think he could work well with Benson. The little and large show. Good signing and one for the future

This one's really a tad peeved:

Quote
After 50 years of watching / supporting this Club - this is it for me.
This is typical of this Clown of a Manager's attitude to youngsters, and building for the future ?? - had enough now, can't take what has happened / happening to our once great Club anymore. Good Luck and Goodbye. I won't miss this garbage that was once a great family Club.

Another one

Quote
It's as simple as this: Ellington or Murray on the bench.
Why would you sell a promising youngster who's scoring goals in a lower division and keep Ellington on the bench without giving Murray a shot!?

It beggars belief! If we do sell him, I am f**kin' done with this club and will start calling for the board and all of its management!!!

Makes me wish I had something against Ipswich because then I would find it so much more enjoyable

Wait, didn't they kill SSP?

Could be the next Jordan Rhodes, Ipswich let him go at an early age and look at him now.

Could be. But without regular first team football these players will remain a non entity.

To be honest, I think his control is sometimes a bit suspect. Havnt seen anything that would suggest Ipswich fans should get upset about any transfer (unlike Palace fans, who should have got upset about Foderingham going).

I'm not sure Ipswich fans would be getting so upset over Murray in isolation. He may well come good but looks far from the finished article and needs to learn to anticipate the game a bit better.

But having seen what Jewell did to Derby - and how long it has taken them to get back on track - I don't doubt this is all part of a bigger picture for them.

Murray was getting into some great positions at Barnet but a few times was pulled up for offside so agree about anticipating the game. Might be that he is just over keen to impress which is better than some loan players we have had at Swindon.

Agree - I really liked the way he was trying to break the offside trap and get in behind on Tuesday. It didn't quite happen for him on the night, but I think it will. His movement at Torquay was the highlight of the game. The more games he plays, the more it will begin to fit together for him

I thought he was excellent at Northampton but hasn't quite hit that form since.

Still young and learning.

This. Not overly excited about signing him permanently, but I think that might just be because I'm being short-sighted and not looking to how good he could be in 1-2 years time.

"On the other hand, if you were Murray, who would you rather play for? A manager who's love and passion for the game has never been disputed in a team that is playing good football and probably on the way up or us...........it is so terribly sad that it has got to this situation."

Was my personal favourite from that site.

disappointed in you Ardiles. Thought you were better than to stereotype regions in the UK!!

No wonder people are so quick to call us carrot crunchers and 6 fingered halfwits with supporters like you about!! ;)
