Di Canio prepared to let Kerrouche leave Swindon

PAOLO Di Canio will not stand in Mehdi Kerrouche’s way should the striker choose to leave Swindon before the end of the month.

Yep.

Connell on the other hand has had a tough time of it but he's stuck at it, worked hard and now he's getting his reward.

Exactly....still a chance for Kerrouche but it is up to him.

PDC is an it's my way or the highway man.  Its a shame Kerouche has fallen foul if this, he seemed to work hard when playing and scored some too.

But if PDCs approach gets us promoted who am I to argue.

I'm willing to take full responsibility for this, It was destiny.

My first Swindon shirt with a name on was Sam Parkin, He left. Then was Rory Fallon, followed by Miglioranzi, Peacock and Cox. I haven't had a name on my shirt since but felt Kerrouche was the boy and it had to be done. Every Town shirt ive had a players name on they've left That season. Any Requests?

When they spoke to him on Take It Like A Fan he said that his biggest influences as a manager were Capello and Rednapp. I was interested that he said Capello as it is clear in his book that he didn't seem to actually like Capello much at all.

I thought this was quite prescient in light of his recent "You don't have to like me, you just have to follow me" comment.

Disappointing news by unsurprising. Really rated him tbh but if he's unwilling to work hard, then there's no place in the squad for him.

We have done pretty well without him, he never puts in a shift on the pitch even though he has scored a few goals.

Obviously doesnt want to be a professional footballer at our club.....

Next please.

It's a shame but hopefully we can sign someone willing to put in the work and who is able to put them in the back of the net.

The strange thing about this is, when he first played he was one of the hardest working, most committed players on the pitch. I found myself chuckling at his incredible work rate. I must say I didn't really notice it drop, but then PDC hasn't played him since it has, so that'd be why! :)

Just hope we dont sell him to a promotion rival, hopefully his stats will interest a few league one teams. Rumour has it that with the Rooney bid we offered cash and a player in exchange, just hope we didnt offer Kerrouche as part of it, I doubt we would to be honest. More than likely it was Esajas we offered, which will be their Rooney replacement

We're clearly not looking to make money from Kerrouche's departure. I'd guess he'd leave England although he may have impressed other L2 clubs.

Look at Kerrouche's career, 26 years old and has been on the books at 6 clubs (at senior level) all of which have been short stays despite scoring goals.

Something ain't right and I imagine PDC has discovered what that is.

indeed, 7 clubs in 5 years I believe.

Good luck to him, certainly can't say he didn't play his part for us when he was bothered...
