Not known yet, he has until 4pm today to respond. Fine would be the likely outcome.

£2k fine and a 5 match touchline ban I feel will be given out by the FA/FL.

The fine won't hurt him but the touchline ban surely will.

Fergie got 5 games last season for saying Martin Atkinson shouldn't have been in charge of the Man Utd /Chelsea game and for then trying to fight the charge.

Its also his second red of the season isnt it, which I would think would increase the ban - like when a player gets his second red of the season.

I think the fact that he admitted he was wrong and apologised after the game to Boothroyd & the Ref has probably worked in his favour. Also the fact that he didn't make any sort of gesture to the home fans.

He had to get some sort of ban, so one game is as good as we could have hoped for.

He can stand at the edge of the technical area if it's big enough (and if it's 10 metres away)

He can also give team talks pre, half time and post and communicate with other staff to pass messages.

On that basis he had to get at least one game, didn't he?
