Without risking sounding like the very famous dirty Leeds, we are a big team in this league, doing well, with favourable distances to travel. Great away support so far this year, although not sure we'll shift 1500 for barnet in the cup?

Midweek + just after christmas + only first leg = unlikely. IMHO obviously.

Been asked elsewhere, but can anyone remember a smaller away following at the CG for a league game since away support was counted? Easy to criticise, but Fair play to the 72 that made it down from Morecambe (probably 30/40 odd as half must have been based down here/London etc). That is loyal!!

3!! Wow, that's hyper shit.  I remember an away game against charlton in the cup when we'd lost the first league 4.1 and there were under 100 town. Think we went through, but that's defo the least town fans I've seen at an away gam. My memory is shit though....i blame estascy.

Seriously though I agree with what you said regarding Morecambe and not being too bad for a club with a small fan base just before Christmas.

There are a lot of town fans on Twitter especially who do seem to be getting a little Leedsesque in their big club posts!

I've just asked the wife if I can go and have been given permission so that would make it 23,452.

I phoned up to buy my Northampton tickets this morning.  Sounds as if the initial allocation is now almost sold out.  (They mentioned a possible further allocation of 500 tickets, but can't be sure about that.)

What I am sure of, though, is that today is the last day for out-of-towners to buy Torquay and Northampton tickets by phone and have them sent out through the post.

I'm sure the initial allocation is for behind the goal. They've been known to open about half the side stand on the right before as like an "overflow". They'd be silly not to give us more if the demand is there. I can't see there being a home sell out based on their current state of affairs.
