Looks like Swindon could get a good dumping of snow tomorrow morning. Hopefully it'll be gone in time for the Morecambe game.

After the sheff. weds game last year a little dusting of snow is nothing.

Met Office has issued an amber warning for tomorrow morning.

For the ignorant among us - and I count myself as a firm member of that group - what does an amber warning mean?

It means its more serious than yellow :)

Be prepared,be ready,(like at a traffic light) for serious weather....winds rain or snow.

May not happen but be prepared is what it means.......they are used a lot in Asia etc as warnings for hurricanes,torrential rain etc.

I can't make it Saturday so hope it snows like fuck.  Plus I will get the day off work tomorrow if it snows!!!

Thankfully with regard Saturdays match it looks a lot better.

We get snow but it depends if it sets or not. We had a fair bit yesterday but it just melted away instantly.

It's lovely out today... just been for a walk around Croft woods then popped into town and it's my favourite weather - cold, crisp, and bright. Was not successful in doing any xmas shopping, however. But did discover a bacon, brie, and cranberry parcel in Greggs, which was stunning.
