You can get the train from malpensa to como.. takes about an hour and a half.

Title: Re: Italy help Post by: 4D on Wednesday, December 14, 2011, 10:18:38 You're probably better off Googling trains malpensa to como. I went malpensa straight to Milan central about 11 years ago (San siro.) It was still lira then instead of euros :)
Title: Re: Italy help Post by: juddie on Wednesday, December 14, 2011, 10:24:05 cool, cheers. Nice journey?

Title: Re: Italy help Post by: Ardiles on Wednesday, December 14, 2011, 10:39:43 A while ago now, but I hired a car in Milan and drove up around Como before heading for the Malojapass (sp?) and up in to Switzerland. Stunning scenery. You'll love it.

Yes, very much like early DM (actually I had a DM song sang at my wedding, and no not Strangelove). I thought Songs of Faith and Devotion wasn't too bad, and the latest Sounds of the Universe was OK but took a few listens. But everything in-between was very disappointing and/or compilations. never really got into the endless remixes or collectables! Anyway Italy.. Title: Re: Italy help Post by: Mexicano Rojo on Wednesday, December 14, 2011, 11:23:46 Got the train from malpenza to Milan very good service takes about 40 minutes, plus it's one of those double decker trains , sorry don't know about como
Title: Re: Italy help Post by: 4D on Wednesday, December 14, 2011, 11:41:50 cool, cheers. Nice journey? Yes it was, as MR says about 40 mins. The return journey was better; one of my mates had been feeling rough after the night before, the train motion brought on his very loud vomiting ( in the train bogs). I sat there pretending to read an Italian sport paper "gazetta " sp. so not to be associated with the barbarian. :) Title: Re: Italy help Post by: 4D on Wednesday, December 14, 2011, 11:47:12 Yes, very much like early DM (actually I had a DM song sang at my wedding, and no not Strangelove). ;) New life Just can't get enough or Master and servant.?
