Title: Re: BBC News: Swindon Town chairman Wray backs Paolo di Canio passion Post by: Costanza on Tuesday, December 13, 2011, 18:31:55 That's what the media want though isn't it? A bit of a war between PDC and somebody, anybody.
I notice that this news was considered important enough to go beyond the League Two section on the BBC website. Would this have been the case if Macclesfield manager through a hissy and his chairman backed him? Nope. It's bizarre how our decent unbeaten run under PDC gets zero attention yet a few quotes from an irked PDC and we're in the main news section. Oh how they want this venture to fail. I was listening to the show but hadn't seen your post. Glad I stuck with it because I nearly turned over when Peter Winkleman came on. Winkleman remains a cock, talking about bringing football to Milton Keynes as if he's on some sort of evangelical mission. Prick. You stole a club. Evangelise that. Wray, however, impressed me. No nonsense, knows what he wants. The programme focussed to a large extent on the pivotal relationship between a club's Chairman and its manager, and I can see how he and PDC would work well together. |
