If that's what you like then it'll be good.....I went to see Marty Wilde and the Wildcats, a lot of years ago with my father......Marty's real name is Reg Smith.....give his daughter one mind. :P

Go for it Johno, you'll have a great time. :advercool:

I've seen Status Quo twice, at the Oasis. I went with my dad when I was about 8 and then again a couple of years later, I actually really enjoyed it.

I stood on the sound man's platform so I could see the stage and my dad insisted I had cotton wool in my ears because it was 'too loud'. Those were the days...

I saw their farewell concert at Milton Keynes bowl in 1984 with the original line up, it was a good gig.

I met Jeff Rich (original Status Quo drummer) before and he was pretty rude. Though it didnt help when my mate asked him 'when your famous can you get, whatever you want?'

Wasn't trying to be funny. Was just stating the truth ! Tis a well know fact, along with Eddy Grant's hits from the 80s, which were the same tune speeded up and then slowed down.

Don't be so defensive, everyone likes different stuff. If we all liked the same stuff then the world would be pretty boring !

P.S. Chesney Hawkes was a little after my time.

Wasn't it Parfitt or Rossi that had a porn problem and held the tossing off parties? I'm sure once he projected a porno onto a house opposite the hotel he was staying and started tossing off to it.

That or I have had too much sun.
